Ya. There’s a small 4f gap or less in between the first and second hit if delayed which allows to frame trap if you press. It got a nice buff in that you can’t 2H it anymore because the game considers it a grounded move now. You can reflect it which creates a mind game bc if you try to reflect or press you run the risk of getting hit, blockstun from an assist, grabbed etc. He can at any time stop his rekkas so you’re looking at heavy conditioning and mental frame advantage. His pressure game is fun

i see, i didnt know that he had that, and he can stop it too huh?

what about yamcha's rekka's, how would you compare those?

Similar. I feel like blue geta can do more with his tho ie LLM LMM LMH LLH etc. Correct me if I’m wrong I’m not sure Yamaha has that many options

He has all the same options, but they serve different purposes. Ending in M is fully punishable but gives sliding KD for instance. Using M in the middle alway leaves a bigger gap but gives more damage. Starting with M is a cross up. Etc. He can also dash backwards/forwards after the first/second then continue rekkas afterwards. It’s interruptible, H is best for follow up surprise crossup.

And that’s without any assists.

Edit, I guess he can’t H twice in rekkas like blugeta can... but why would you

what does doing heavy in rekka's for bluegeta do? anything plus or nah?

also i feel like yamcha's rekka's might be better because he can fake you out.

Android 16 is legally broken now if it's players start doing this.
This is awesome. A lot of meter usage but if you can’t open someone up, this is a ridiculous setup. Does good damage too. But again, a lot of meter investment so I don’t believe it’s “too good” as in broken as in needing to be nerfed. Good tech, wonder how well it will work in actual matches.

Can cross you up similar to Yamcha if he does a heavy in the middle. I think the heavy ender gives him corner carry. He can stagger them similar to Yamcha but I think Yamcha's are way more effective and actually terribly underrated.

Ya there’s no reason to burn that bar with bluegeta he needs it for so many more important things...like you know...getting average damage [emoji849]

I will say this. I love Begeta, but IMO he is a slightly inferior bardock. Bardock can do everything he can but easier.

I still use him, but you can kind of see that writing on the wall.

^Can anyone help me notate that combo?

Especially right after the first vanish into MH at the 5 second mark, it looks like some follow-up is then being done to propel him diagonally downward and forward before he begins the next jump LMH loops but I can't tell wtf is going on there exactly being that I'm noob af. Is it just a L after the H and the momentum carries it?

Can’t say for sure but it looks like vanish,jMH(dash)L,L.jc.L etc.
You can dash cancel Ki blast with sparking active. It looks like it work when beerus’ orbs hit too.

Edit, hope that makes sense but on re-read not sure. Lmk if not

Second edit, you land at the second comma. Out rn so can’t test

Timing takes some getting used to..not sure if practical in higher than 3-4f delay

Sent from my iPhone using Test Your Might
Not practical with 3f+ even a little bit. *Unless* you practice only on 3f lag, which I know for a fact some online players who have no desire to play in tournaments do.

I got Base Vegeta’s loop down, to an extent. At least certain combos. At first it felt impossible, now I do it about 8/10 times. Execution is a 100% practice. Meaning doing the same thing literally 1000+ times. After doing the same combo so many times, I realized why a lot of people get turned off by fighters. No one wants to put in that type of work. No casual player is going to sit in training mode and do the EXACT SAME COMBO hundreds of times (IN A ROW) until it’s muscle memory. Which is understandable I guess, lol.

I’ll tell you though, once you get a hard executional combo down, and can pull it off no problem, it’s extremely rewarding.

hit the 500k+ wall.

I need to learn tighter frame traps and mixups.

I am starting to get exposed a little bit with my linear gameplan. I was discouraged last night after going up 2-0 in a few sets and being downloaded.

Haven't been this motivated to lab in a long time. Time to patch the leaky boat.

WIth some people in this game you just cant play mind games lol Many times for example i landed vanish on block vs someone and ofc they try to challenge me and get full combo . After 2 times it happened im like ok now he will block so ill dragon rush him . But guess what ? He mashed again lmao . But anytime I play vs pink squares vanish into dragon rush always works :p

I think I finally fell on a team I'm going to stick with for a while.

Bardock, Vegito, Kid Buu. Let the hate flow through you.
