Been playing Blugeta, Yamcha, Gotenks team all evening for the first time since the patch and been absolutely killing it. God damn I love this team when they get going. Blugeta can steamroll off a good read and/or punish.
Definitely still my strongest team for now.
Finally stopped labbing so much and spending my little time on exp instead. Got a couple months to grind before real life takes over for a while. Been mollywhopping oranges for a week now and finally hit pink.
Haven’t revisited team Nappa, Yamcha, ssVegeta properly yet, only tested that nothing was removed (besides saiba-projectile-lockdown
) which it didn’t appear to have been. Obviously buffs will have helped. Will revisit at some point, but for now:
I’ve not been doing quite as well with team3. Possibly just because it’s new, but I just don’t think Basegeta gives Nappa enough to justify the canonical-inclusion. So I’ve decided to drop Nappa From team3, allowing me to focus on what Basegeta needs. Which brings me to my point...
Who do you play with Basegeta, is there a character you think he needs? I think Yamcha, Gotenks will work, but I’d rather some variety from the aforementioned Blugeta team. I don’t mind having Yamcha again, as he’s just insane on support, and some consistency is nice. But I’m looking for a third that gels as well if not better than Gotenks. Hoping Base Goku works, I think I read that Yamcha can lvl1 into super spirit bomb, so there’s that. I’d like another lockdown assist if possible but Base Gokus didn’t strike me as lockdown oriented.
TLDR; Play Basegeta? Who with? Why them?
