I came back to this game and bought broly . What is ur guys opinion on him ? Is hi viable now ? Cuz hes fun to use thats for sure. I plan to pair him with black and zamasu . Will it be a good team composition ? I know broly works well with beam assist but idk about zamsu assist .

broly kinda needs a team built around him actually.

Nah, not really. But I will say that most combos are easier than they look, but some are harder than they look too... like way harder. For instance a lot of combo “loops” take incredibly precise timing, but technically you could avoid the hard execution characters and still become good at the game.

well i think i plan on learning cell still, his corner loop is fairly easy yea?

i might invest time in Adult gohan as well, tho if i learn base vegeta its definitely gonna be as a Point character, his assist is way to crappy to really keep him as anything else imo.

Zamasu assist is kinda ehh but it works'ish. Broly very picky about team comp much more than most of the cast.

Beam assists are very good for Broly but the main reason I use SSJ goku is because the synergy is there a lot more than just the beam assist, lot of double super synergy between ssj goku/broly. The way my team works its no thang to dump anywhere from 4 to 7 bars in any given combo cause synergy so good.

More to the point on the previous thing a decent easy zamasu/goku black extension should look like this. Don't be afraid to burn both assists on broly cause its the only way you are gonna get any fuckin damage cause his damage is the shits outside of the corner.

whatever starter to stand H, homing, MLdjMLH zamasu assist, jump/superjump depending on height, MLdjMLH beam assist, delay, homing dash, LLL/ML airgrab vanish, dragonrush

its literally corner to corner. You won't not be able to get to the corner thanks to the beam then the delayed homing dash afterwards.

literally the only thing my frieza team is missing is a good DHC character, but i don't think that JUST that alone is worth putting a character in your team. the main reason i decided not to run A.Gohan cuz thats all he really has going for the team as far as synergy.

i wonder tho, maybe i should try running Frieza, Black, SSj Vegeta tho, since not only does vegeta have a good assist, but i think his Big Bang DHC's well with Frieza's deathball in the corner too, am i wrong?

also, if someone needed team idea's for Broly, try Broly, Gotenks, SSJ Vegeta

Do broly have to be as a point character ? Maybe Ill run zamasu on point , broly second , black as anchor ?

Yeah I was thinking about that but I dont rly want to learn more characters and some of them which i can play like kid buu and cell have poor synergy with him too . Besides I want team " I hate goku" lol ;p I was thinking about frieza instead of zamasu . His assist allows broly combo easly after connecting medium lariat anywhere on screen . Cant do this with black or zamasu , too slow assist .

My opinion Broly is point or go home. He has issues obviously, but his neutral isn't one of them. He has one of the best neutrals in the game full stop. He needs assists to get anything real done but that's why he is point so he can have two assists to back him up.

So what are broly issues rly ? Low dmg on combos ? Cuz for sure it aint his projectile game , his ki blasts are good and ereaser blow is very good too .
