New body change combos(not my video). I haven't tested myself but it looks pretty easy, I imagine you'll see a lot more body changes with these combo paths being available. Every combo is basically

LL(2nd hit)~236H, 236S(Guldo), assist, Body Change

i feel like im missing out on a lot of tech atm, Kid buu still has a fair number of setups intact yes?

One Goku dude tried to Genki f*** my poor Frieza in party team match... So... I z changed it into the friend Goku to Genki f*** his Genki f*** dama. I will show the video at noon. It was hilarious to see Goku get genki f**** with an opossed genki f*** dama.

Messing around with triple Vegeta. Still working on Base Vegeta’s loop, I got the first part down, not sure how to keep doing it. But I got this decent triple Vegeta combo, definitely not optimized but it looks dope especially with the double galick gun supers lol.

I'm gonna sound super ambiguous but I doubt mean to. but you delay longer than you think but shorter than obvious. like I wait till my dude climbs all the way back to the guy I'm combing.
I'll ask you before I post. i have the loop down to like 70 percent it's getting the supers input to come out after I've finished it is the hard part for me. Are you struggling?

I play Frieza at scrub level for funsies. But I did land my practiced combo once on a party mode match. it was so godlike. I will show a video later.

Can you record it? Like I get the gist of it but I guess I just need to keep practicing. 100% maining Base Vegeta so I guess I’ll figure it out eventually

You’re a legend, I appreciate it!!
Haha thanks not a problem happy to help. I used looking at the light button on screen to help master the rhythm.
I'm enjoying his pressure as well right now. the fact that you can air dash his specials are very helpful..a buddy I train with was talking about how he whiffs the loop and if the opponent doesn't downtech (which anyone decent will) but if you catch them slipping. you can do that overhead drive special to land on top.

Not dropping Kid Buu but he's not my point guy (kid?) anymore. Base Vegeta with Kid Buu's jailing assist is just ridiculous. He has insane amount of mixups with buu ball from like 3-4 different true blockstrings lol. Including midscreen and corner.

So happy with Base Vegeta - my general preferred playstyle was always rushdown / mix'em up 24/7 (that's why my pre-patch team was Kid Buu, Gotenks, Goku) and Base Vegeta has it all, including great damage.

Dude puts out quality videos. Do we know which all assists will allow those shenanigans besides Kid Buu’s? I’m assuming Gotenks, maybe Yamcha, no clue about anyone else’s...

Nothing locks down quite like KBuu, but yeah I’d assume the usual suspects allow for some shenanigans. ima try Goku’s because
1. It’s a better lockdown/pressure assist than SS Vegeta, but they can both do this...
2:
3: Nappa + Base Vegeta was non-negotiable

@HGTV Soapboxfan So I don't know if you are familiar with tag fighters, but your goal is to fit a character in a point/mid/anchor role. Point is your starter, operates really strong out the gate but does better with assists. Mid would have a great assist but maybe stronger with an assist like the point character. Your anchor is your last resort character, one who does REALLY well solo and can help you close out a match once you are down.

So Android 21 is great, because I'd argue she can fit into any of these roles. To keep it simple, let's make her point. So for your mid/anchor, a good fit is any character with a beam assist: an assist attack that is a beam that goes across the screen. They are great at full screen pressure and still help you combo. So you'd be looking at:

Goku Black, SSJ Goku, Tien, Gotenks, and some other characters I'm forgetting I'm sure. Android 21 (if you want to move her), Bardock, Yamcha and Vegeta also sort of fill this archetype, their assists function similarly to beams.

So for an anchor, this might not necessarily be the character that is "the best". It could also be the character you do the best with. If you maintain your sparking (the red power up thing), it's going to be hella strong for this final character, so you want it to be somebody you know you personally can do damage with. But in general, Android 16, Cell, Adult Gohan, Bardock, Tien, any Goku and any Vegeta are pretty decent in this slot.

Another good thing about tag games is you do have some flexibility in who you play. For example, I enjoy playing Frieza, who isn't that great comparatively. But my two other characters, Black and 21, can make up for his faults because they do really well in the roles they play for my team.

Bare in mind, this is all info based on the old patch, but most of it should be good. It might help if you check out the combo trials and see what characters feel good to you.

Midscreen Base Vegeta combo. Sparking is unnecessary in this combo, was just seeing how much damage it would do. And you can loop the j.LL S at least a couple more times, but the timing is really strict. Like you have to delay the 2nd autocombo in the combo so Vegeta maintains the height to keep the loop going. It might end up being a ToD if I can get the loop timing down.
