Congratulations to Croatia, you've been a very tough opponent and your team was awesome during the whole tournament. The game was stressful and you played very well. You should be proud of your team, and I'm pretty sure you already are. You fought until the end and it was an honor to face such an awesome and formidable opponent in this finals. Luka Modric deserves his golden ball, he was god tier during the whole tournament. Croatia, you earned the respect of the world, and you obviously deserve it.

Just came here to say what a World Cup! So much hype fromm the beginning. Croatia won my heart in the way they fought until the end. Hands down one of the best if not the best team in the cup as far as performance. France is, of course, the champ. But still, I was very impressed by Croatia.

One thing is for sure. The Americas need to step up their game big time. Europe is dominating.

I agree. The final score has been tough to swallow. I would not mind Croatia losing if they played poorly, but almost every statistic was in Croatia's favor. In fact, Croatia dominated possession and forced France to retreat and rely on counter attacks, which I thought only Belgium could accomplish. Ironically, I thought both teams were very unfortunate in their losses to France. In the end, Croatia were hard-working and resilient, a perfect description for their people...
