Few notes:

1. Lol, you can’t see Frieza at all on your win screen when he’s 3rd

2. Holy shit, 3rd hit of death saucer just after 12mins combo’d assistlessly (it’s a word, proof in the Nappa thread) because it caught him high up! I wanna learn optimal conversion from that.

3. Right at the end when you “Gold up”. I’ve noticed a trend in behaviour thus far when going gold. Approximately 69% of people hold 1 like they think you gained a full screen low. The remainder immediately yolo, I’ve literally 0 idea why. The good thing about activating at a distance, is that the sizeable chunk that superdash literally just murdered themselves, especially now you’ll be waiting for it ;) I’ve actually started using gold a lot more towards the end (particularly if I’m haemorrhaging resources) and this is part of why. The uninitiated have no idea how to deal with gold. A nifty little lvl1 would’ve hyped out the match in your favour.

4. Your gameplay’s improved a bunch since the last vid iirc. Keep up that top dolla work! :) with that in mind... no offense intended, just wanna help a bro lvl up.

5. I’m a believer in keeping advice simple and addressing one thing at a time: I think your Gotenks might be a bit yolo and enjoys pressing buttons out of turn. It cost him most dearly in the first game, but once I spotted it I kept an eye out. There were times when it paid off big time, but normally when the opponent made a weird read or reacted badly. In my experience against pinks, that doesn’t happen as often as it did. Don’t get me wrong, you gotta bring the wild, but I felt your other chars did this in better measure.

My Gotenks is wild as fuck, but its because he's just so fun as fuck to play! I'm trying to find ways to bait the opponent by going wild and leaving me open on purpose, so i can call out an assist to distract. Still kinda freestyling the mix as I go, which is why i LOOOOOVE this game! I had to give the guy major props afterwards for giving me such a great match. With Gotenks being the wildcard, not alot of ppl know how to handle him which works in my favor. I will take everything in consideration so I can level up my gameplay but I really think this unorthodox, unlikely trio can actually work.

Yeah I get it, Nappa kinda fills the same purpose for me lol. I run him point tho so he’s always got access to strong assists to catch people hunting mistakes. Gotenks as anchor is unorthodox from what I’ve experienced, and that’s a good thing as long as it works :)

I tend to bring the wild upfront, and hunker (is that a word?) down endgame. Endgame yolo is an inconsistent strategy for me. I get less risky the more necessary it becomes.

Might be the character? Not everyone has a 6f 5L (Nappa/16/21/Black are 7f).
It’s only plus if you’re at the lowest point possible, if your vanish is blocked even a bit off the ground it’s no longer plus.

So thats based on my opponent blocking the vanish being on or off the ground or me when I vanish?

Try A16. He has the same air staggering like Hit's.
Thanks! I sucked it up and settled on Vegeta lol. Makes restand cake because of hit stun, saves me a bar on using vanish, and as a bonus it's a great pressure assist for Swamp Buu to use to mix with his 5M.

And to balance it out I put Black on point. He gives Buu an easy way to tag in and HKD meterlessly since Buu's j2H is a wall bounce. Plus he covers both their weaknesses in neutral very well and his assist can be linked into restand in the corner so he can vortex by alternating assists as long as he has a bar - which he pretty much builds one for every loop.

He was awkward as hell at first and feels like a bill without the right assists but Majin Buu is incredibly fun.

See, this is what I like seeing. Teams that are working with lesser-played characters and showing what they can do. Fat Buu is dope and I think there's a lot there we haven't seen yet and he's going to be strong once all the dust settles.

Like take me for instance, I play Cell. I'm really trying to show what this underappreciated, rare character can do, and that contrary to popular belief he's not bottom tier at all, but almost certainly mid tier. *Cough*

Not sure, but I believe they would have good synergy. Want to make it more hard as a Beerus main? Try Hit. Want to make your orb gameplay hard? Try Piccolo. It's up to you whether you like them with Beerus or not.

So thats based on my opponent blocking the vanish being on or off the ground or me when I vanish?
The opponent, your vanish goes behind them no matter where you are on the screen. If they are off the ground you'll appear at the same height. Even in the height where it's plus it's still considered airborne though so if there's a big enough gap (assuming it's not raw) you can get 2H'd.

We got a patch on steam today dont really notice a difference though except for the timer the accept matches is now 30 seconds.

From my experience no room found only happens on Steam if you're different download regions.

I wanna hear from PS4 people to see if it actually got better so you don't have to change your fighter ID like 4 times before it lets you into a ring match.

Already got the patch. Go DL now.

Hit and Piccolo are kind of hard to pull off, but with some training they're good to go.

There are few things, mainly that snapbacks have crossup protection now so you can't crossup incoming characters anymore.
Piccolo's hellzone grenade explosion is now in the background so it doesn't cover the characters, Ginyu lost the DHC glitch, rest are all bug fixes like characters disappearing and whatnot.
