Wow, when you get up in the ranks, the quitters really come out in full force.
Yes I am! I play mostly on XB1 but have it for PS4 as well. But I prefer the XB1 controller (for some reason) and don’t have a converter yet. So yeah... lolAre you still on Xbox? Would love to practice and grind with you.
It's 12:30 am here. I know the feels.Ggs @TakeAChance
A bit laggy but we pushed through it, lol. Now, to go to sleep. Work tomorrow gonna suck
I don't get this game I need help. At this higher level I'm getting demolished. It's either button mashing with strategy. Or I'm completely out classed the later is a layer issue. After a reflect what are you guys doing. Do you have to reflect multiple times or is it one reflect into punish. Much like Injustice i seem to be the only one with out a grasp of the game. What stops an opponents advancement? I run up and they an 2 m and they standing light me I make the same approach and nothing I tried the jump down heavy gets me no where.
Nah Im US my work schedule seems to be different than most. By the time I have an opportunity to log on most are logging off@ProudDisciple mate ur from EU? Whats the psn
Im with you 100%. Seems like I can’t figure out when to press buttons, when to reflect to try to punish, I can’t get them off me but they get out of my pressure with ease. I honestly don’t care about winning but when Im losing and not ahowing progress or learning something new, I just get frustrated.I don't get this game I need help. I've gone over to the Black side too. He's subbing for Kid Buu for a while and it's just so damn nice. He's just consistent and solid at all times in any situation.Goku Black is fair
Fight me
Only because i'm using him now
And I know he's easy bullshit
(EDIT)
I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS 2H
I'm nothing special, a novice, so my advice may be shit, but..Im with you 100%. Well you can block while advancing. Like you can iAD and then hold back and block in the air and on the ground. You can block at any point as long as you’re not pressing buttons. That seems obvious but start doing that more. Like if someone is 2H’ing your jump ins, jump in and block, then punish. If they cancel the 2H into SD, 2H their SD.I don't get this game I need help. This seems obvious like I said, but I started doing this more and it has helped a lot. Also, try not to be on the ground in neutral if you can help it. Constantly be moving be like I said, if you’re not pressing buttons while you’re moving, make sure you’re blocking.
Other than that, I would need to see some match footage to give you more specific tips. I’m not the greatest player but I got a pretty good grasp on the game.
There are no red or purple squares huh@EntropicByDesign
I try to anticipate what my opponent wants to do but I haven't found answers as to how to avoid their pressure getting started. It really is a simple concept, "get your opponent to block something in order to lock them down, to be able to start your pressure which should ultimately net you damage and a knockdown."
I played a long set last night vs a red/purple square and my opponent pushed buttons all the time, super dashed at me when I couldn't punish him and just countered everything that I did. The opponent knew their spacing, timing and the priority of their moves vs mine way better than I did.
He won the majority of the matches I know that I was frustrated and honestly super salty so I'm not trying to take anything away from my opponent. I have to admit that during the majority of the matches I was asking myself, "Why is this guy hitting buttons in this situation?" and telling myself "he won't hit buttons there, oh wait yeah he did."
I just need to keep on playing and eventually I'll get over this.

I've heard this before.. the orange and pink squares can look red and purple on some displays or color settings I think. The first time I saw the orange square I thought it was a weird red myself. There are no red or purple squares huh
