This is what happened to me. My opponent was a good GG player. It was a learning lesson for me. I learned some sweet stuff there.

It's not that hard on reaction. You just need to know when to anticipate it, or not. There's, also, another punish. The Vanish, also, punishes it.

If you want to open those fellas from blocking, just mash the R2 button (Super Dash, meaning the one that avoids the zoning and goes to attack). This one breaks the block. For more reference, go to the lobby, and then go to downleft corner (PRACTICE), and go to Tutorial Mode. This will explain its gameplay. There are some things that it doesn't explain at all. 2M (it's, also, shown as low kick), but, in fact, that's the small sliding kick. 2H is the one that sends the opponent to air, also called as Dust in BB and GG worlds.

If you want to switch sides, you need the Vanish (M+H). Use it only at zoning, or to punish that Super Dash. Another way to punish Super Dash is the 2H.

You CAN do air Dust (J2H). Some characters send the opponents even up in air. Others wallbounce them (similar to INJ2's B3). Those prolong the combos.

I hate that stupid super dash, there are answers but I feel it's too good to be this safe on block. We still on day -14 and I'm already over this nonsense that people are mashing nonstop,

Goes through projectiles, can be done off of blockstun, tracks really well, goes into a combo, goes through most assists.

I'm also noticing that most characters 2H are ass, like doing this shit on reaction online is only possible with Frieza. Why can't I pick 3 Friezas?

I don't know if it's lag but when I hit someone with an overhead they just made light auto combos on me. It's difficult to call an assist during it to.

Don't know if there's better threads but i have some questions. New to dragon ball so, is down strong attack the only punish to super dash? Also how do you punish the r1 on ps4? Sorry if that's not clear, its like a throw or something that launches

EDIT! Interesting....so if you play a ranked match and you're about to Level up, but the opponent rage quits on you, you still get the points and level up rank. FUCKING SWEET! Im an Earthling, RIGHTEOUS ;)

I was playing a match and this guy could anti-air it every single time on reaction. I'm talking like 7 times in a row (I'm pretty stubborn). The only time he didn't was with Krillin (t-rex arms). Forced me to actually play the game with a brain. I think at higher levels, we'll see much less of the super dash.

Sounds like you felt upon a BB or GG player. Similar to what happened to me.

I need to start jumping onto servers. But my experience online thus far is AWESOME! I be facing ppl with trash ass servers, but still theres little to no lag which is AMAZING cus i just got my connection wired today ;)

It’s not too good man. Watch high level matches and see how often it’s done. They use it in specific situations such as whiff punish, avoiding zoning, while their assist makes it safe, etc.

Just relax man, lol.

Well DAMN! I didnt even know u can punish super dash with Down strong (DH) Good to know ;)

Second, that R1 is basically a counter throw to ppl who block all the time and can be used to force the opponent to switch. Not sure how to punish, im guessing super dash is fast enough to counter it. Still learning as i go :)

Well...maybe u can answer me this ?Question? I JUST found out that in the middle of an air combo, you press down H (High) and it launches the opponent again. But how do you follow up to finish off the juggle?

Yeah, I have a shit connection, and everything yellow bar and above has been a maximum of 4 frames of delay. The netcode is the best I’ve played so far, hopefully that stays true in the actual game.
