Did you hear about the co-op mode? You can play with 1 person controlling 1 member of the 3 person team. I think that could be way hype for clan stuff

I just want to talk about some of the better looking assists for a second, and make some soft speculation. Not in any order.

  • Vegeta obvious has an excellent one and saw tons of use in the beta, great combo extender, great blockstun for going for a mix up, great range - one downside that it can be super dashed through, so you can't thoroughly keep people out with it.
  • Cell is similar hitbox to the Vegeta one, less blockstun and not as good for extending combos, but a much nicer hit box, and cannot be super dashed through. Looks pretty excellent to me as well.
  • Kid Buu has what appears to be the best assist for block pressure, with MASSIVE blockstun. Doesn't track to the air for combo extensions however and I believe has a longer Cooldown than most. I feel this one may be a little overrated in expectation as I'm wondering if there's much you wont have time to do off the more versatile Vegeta assist, but that's just speculation.
  • Trunks assist is fast, reaches anywhere on the screen, has a massive hitbox, deflects ki blasts, and launches on hit. This looks like the premium assist for screen control.
  • Frieza is similar application to Trunks, with better vertical range and I believe a larger all around hitbox, but doesn't track like Trunks does.
  • Gohan (Teen / Adult) everyone is expecting the team wide safe DP assist to be quite strong and I'm inclined to agree, especially since it can still be used offensively for mix-ups in many cases.
I think all of the assists look quite good (with the exception of SSGSS Goku :confused: EDIT: oh and Beerus) but I think these one's here at the moment look like stand out assists. Any thoughts?

I’m extremely excited to finally get my hands on the beta this weekend. I wasn’t one of the lucky ones that got to try the closed beta. I just want to familiarize myself with the mechanics and see how it all flows.

Tbh, I haven’t been this excited to play a fighting game since vanilla SF4.

That's clever way to do wars but it seems it would most likely the way traditional wars is what everyone would prefer.

same here brother, except replace SF4 with "ever". This is the game I've waited my whole life for. First time I've ever pre-ordered anything. Hype.

Very true. DBZ Budokai 3 was the only DBz game I considered a true fighter, and that is also the best DBZ game to date imo. Been waiting for a legitimate DBZ fighting game and now that it’s here I can’t contain my hype!

If you’re in EU and pre-ordered then you can download the beta now. It’s killing me looking at the game on my dashboard.

also does any one know any bnb combos or is it too early for that sort of thing?
