I was very surprised that MB rifle stayed untouched. That said, I think the biggest issues have been addressed with WC and meter management. I think he'll be in a much better place. He'll still be very good, but require a little more thought. I personally love the approach that Foxy takes with the character of walking back and punishing careless movement with WC. That's the kind of precise play I'd like to see used more with him. Besides, WC spam has been dealt with by enough players in the meta that "spicing it up" with sparse, calculated WCs will probably be more effective. Let's watch the DS players level up their play and be able to give them props for well executed zoning.

I’m trying not to over react, but idk. He won’t suck. But he’s not what he was at all, I think his zoning will be too easy to navigate, Deadshot isn’t half of what Deathstroke was up close, so Deathstroke was still badass. But I’m reserving my actual final opinion for a bit.

Deadshot got nerfed the hardest for sure imo. Time will tell if it’s too hard or not. I like the Red Hood and Batman changes. Catwoman cheesed out once again imo. No Supergirl changes? She already lost the least(probably zero) matchups in the game to begin with. Scarecrow and Firestorm shouldn’t have been touched. Idk lol.

deadshots zoning got obliterated and yet black adam and supergirl go free I agree with dave on this even tho i hated deadshots zoning.

I dont think deadshot will be terrible but hes definitely not going to be at the top anymore. As REO put it, you wont notice it if you never miss a shot again but thats really unrealistic. meanwhile literally the best character in the game wasnt even touched.

scarecrow had a ton of losing matchups, but that buff is retarded.

This character should've never been built the way he was to begin with.
Been saying all along, there is no good way to rebalance him. But this wasn't that bad.

He's the one character where the typical "now his players are gonna have to work for their wins" line actually applies really hard, and I couldn't be happier about it. Mindless WC shots are recklessly stupid.

This is why i don't like NRS balancing, They seem to take the approach of forcing tier shifting rather than just tuning down attributes that weren't meant to be that strong.

I harbor no love for Deadshot or any other full screen zoner type character, But the character was designed to be just that. You can't just plain nerf the zoning out of zoner characters without compensating them enough to maintain their design, unless they were broken or OP, whereas deadshot was neither.

But this time, I agree with him, MB riffle being clashable was fine, start up frames should of never being touched and it should being either or of less Meter build or more recovery on straight shot and not both of them.

We havent actually seen the entire patch notes yet have we? Just what was mentioned in stream. Maybe those chars did receive some changes.

Definitely shouldn't touch the startup on his gun. On the other hand the meter build nerf was well deserved.

They wanted to kill him and thats a fact. Last patch showed that if they want they can do reasonable changes. Meter build and maybe pushback or chip on rifle would be enough. But this ? They destroyed his best tool . They shoudl give him some combo dmg buff to conpensate or something upclose , make mb knee to lunch or smth .

btw dave what do you think about red hood changes ? I think im going 100% him and firestorm and droping deadshot .

but the thing is batman will still be at least good , will play the same . Just batman player will need to be more patient . Deadshot on the other hand will not be able to keep ppl out now . WC is so slow now , mb roll will not be needed to get on him now
