My Opinion Injustice 2 is a dissapointment

That's the entire point of balance patches and keeping an eye on the community and weighing them vs. legitimate concerns.

Yeah but characters are clearly better than others i didnt expect dr fate to be a zoner type i think his design is sick but and i wanted to use him cos i like the character but im not a zoner so his combos are limited this is another opinion you lot don't have to agree but this is hella entertaining to read you guys love this game. MK X is defo better than injustice 2 by miles in my opinion ofcourse. Mk vs DC next with fatalities fuck dc fan boys not wanting there fav comic character to get ripped apart im a dc fan boy and in the comics they get deaded offline so they have no excuse hopefully next game is Mk vs DC.

The fact that you're talking about platinum trophies being an accomplishment, gear being important part of the game and match-ups being a bad thing, tells me that fighting games aren't something you should really be playing.

Have you seen the darkness in their animated novies that is a dumb excuse i think the rating system is bullshit if anything teens will defo buy a new mk vs dc with tag fatalities and of course create your own character. It is your opinion and its a game at the end of the day and its the fact that i enjoyed the 1st one so much i dedicated time to platinum it fam it was long but it was the 1st dc fighting game by netherrealm i didnt think they would copy and paste. Every mortal kombat gameplay has felt fresh and new exciting injustice 2 copy and paste.

Look I usually don't chime in to shit like this but I really can't help myself. I just want to say, in my opinion, Injustice 2 is the best game nrs has made.

I loved MK9. It was a love letter to anyone that's grown up with the MK series from the beginning. The game had issues though. Awful balance. Bugs. Infinites. Shit netcode. Fun as hell but kind of a mess.

Injustice I thought was great. Still felt like an nrs game but different enough to really feel like it's own franchise. There were still problems though. Constant patches. Every dlc character that came out felt broken. Bad netcode again. Etc.

MKX to me was a huge letdown and was the quickest I dropped an nrs game. I loved the graphics. The story mode. The obvious time and work they put into everything. But the gameplay was bland. Every character felt the same to me, in a game where half the cast were new faces I could give a shit about. Just like Injustice, almost every dlc character that dropped was broken. By the time they fixed the netcode it was too late. Beautiful game, but damn. A mess.

Injustice 2 introduced the gear system, which is pretty awesome. It's not perfect, but as far as a new concept goes it's a welcome one. They improved on everything they've done. GGPO netcode at launch. Multiverse was a step above the living towers from MKX. Colors! This game really looks great compared to the last couple games. Excellent facial animations. Most of all, I love how this game feels. I love that most the cast feels different from each other. I have no problems with zoning. To me it's just full screen footsies and adds another layer to the game on top of the block strings and juggles of every previous game. Most of all, it has the best balance out the box that nrs has ever had. That's a big one. The tiers in this game feel much closer together and it feels like nearly every character, even ones plagued with bad matchups, can still compete.

And look, Tekken 7 is great. If you prefer Tekken, that's awesome. But why would you want Injustice, or any other fighting game, to just copy each other. Do want every band to sound exactly the same? There's gotta be diversity man. Different strokes for different folks and all that. Just because you prefer one thing doesn't mean the other is shit. So look, shout out to Tekken for being the only other fighting game I'm currently enjoying... but Injustice 2 is my jam.

It's not lies homie. That's the disconnect here. It may not be the system you envisioned but it's not lies. You can load up on gear and two special moves and take your ass to player matches or KOTHs and play your character your way. And no you can't use a character that through gear or moves gives a competitive advantage over someone else in a mode like RANKED that's designed and implemented solely to approximate skilled play. Yes, obviously it's not perfect and it's not the same as offline play.. but you really think loading up a massive gear loadout and shitting on people in a competitive mode because your deadshot has 3400 ability power... Is fair? THERE IS A MODE FOR THAT. You CAN CUSTOMIZE YOUR CHARACTER AND SHIT ON KIDS. Just not in ranked.

Maybe you wanted to customize every punch and kick but since this game is meant to be competitive, that's not really an option. You act like balance is just this super easy thing, just give everyone everything! But... No. The balance hell of something like that. Ugh. Seriously, balance isn't achieved by just giving every character everything. That's.. that's naivity on a pretty large scale.

Also keep thinking Tekken has perfect balance when you fight Ling. Hell you probably main her.. not to mention Tekken is the most gimmicky fighting game I've ever seen. I say that respectfully in a way, but there are a thousand and one ways to auto-lose in Tekken because of.weird gimmicks and strats that all have very exact answers, but failing to know those answers gets you blown apart. Hence it not being a game for casuals at all. Shrug.

Injustice is fine. It has it's faults, but nothing you have brought up is a real, legitimate criticism. All you've said is "Inj is a bad game because it's not the game I made it up to be in my head, even though it actually is in large part exactly what I'm saying it's not. I also apparently willfully ignored the copious amounts of information out there that spelled the game out and told me exactly what it was and what it wasn't before I ever bought it. So Inj2 is a bad game because Tekken is a gooder game I ate a Lego and now when I poop I heard a click because it meet up with the nickles I've been eating sometimes but man those nickles are bad coins because they aren't plums and I hope my mom.madr.me tuna fish because tekken has customization but injustice get moves smell like rain on the sidewalk I smell toast is something burnjingnfifnssjeyeyedhdyxyxyeejrndixuudebejeudydheebebeududheue"
