Apparently, Warner Bros and Netherrealm Studios beg to differ with that statement! Hours ago, a post surfaced from the Final Round Twitter that sent the Mortal Kombat X scene into a wild frenzy. Courtesy of the developers, there is now a $5,000 pot bonus up for grabs at FR 20!

While I'm just as excited for Injustice 2 as all of you are, I think I speak on behalf of the MKX scene when I tell you this: we're not ready to hang it up just yet!

As a reminder, Final Round XX occurs on March 10-12 in Atlanta, GA. Online registration is open until February 24th, so head over here to sign up. If you'd prefer to wait, you will have one final opportunity to sign up at the door on Thursday, March 9.

GET THOSE NUMBERS UP! We'll see you in Atlanta in three weeks!

P.S. I just signed up today for MKXL and Street Fighter V.

What's even cooler is that this seemed like a direct response to all of the troop rallying recently on twitter. NRS and WB has our backs. Far more people like MKX than TYM could even imagine.

One thing i'd like to note, is we waited a little too long lol. Only 3 days left to register. Still great shit, regardless. Hopefully a lot of pre regs are fit in and pools aren't butt ugly.

Hey woa woa slow your roll buddy. There are a TON of people here that have been saying "Keep both of them along side each other" showing they clearly wanted the game to live on since it was just getting good.

Good for top 3, but honestly pretty sad that we need pot bonuses for our community to keep MKX alive. I miss the old days when people would travel for fun, competition, and leveling up. Let's be real here.. The pot bonus is only really meaningful for the same 10-15 players who regularly make top 8.
