So... 100% confirmed she's a character that most people will play (say most to not include her real fans here) because it's full of guessing game dirt rather than them really liking the character? The main selling point about everything said on that video was that at least. No reveal yet, but IGN did post this just now.
I don't understand how they didn't realize their mistake up until the day of.So I'm to understand that the official website has had 2/7/17 listed as the day for a character reveal up to this morning, the day of the date in question, only to change to 2/13/17 without any such reveal actually happening?
By those quotes, it seems that IGN will be handling the next character reveal after Black Canary. When does IGN typically post reveals, or do they not have a specific time?I found this on twitter from one of the guys at IGN who visited NRS

Vince: I really dig the unique, specialized characters in Injustice 2, I'm just nervous that simple, versatile ones are going to overshadow them.
Jeff: who would you consider a specialist character?
Vince: Canary is a good example. The next reveal will be too. The next Injustice 2 character might actually be my favorite NRS design ever.
Well, if memory serves me, they have fuckups like this for every one of their games. Last minute change of date for streams and reveals is par for the course. And when something does go wrong, they go radio silence...which is pretty frustrating. Don't they have a "community specialist" or some shit? Tyvonte Lansdale, wasn't it? Or Tuvar Lockdown? I can't quite recallI don't understand how they didn't realize their mistake up until the day of.
I'm not so sure. People like the OH or Low guessing game. She doesn't seem to have that. Minus her full powered Canary Cry, nothing too scary about her that I've seen yet. High damage, but that's reasonable if you lack many ways to open up your opponent.So... 100% confirmed she's a character that most people will play (say most to not include her real fans here) because it's full of guessing game dirt rather than them really liking the character? I mean... the whole walkthrough video that I quoted is about how strong are her OH, Lows, Command Grabs, all of them as starter or mid combo or as special move to cancel from another of the options, plus moves that can be delayed. If that's not having literally every element of the guessing game I don't know what it is.I'm not so sure. People like the OH or Low guessing game. She doesn't seem to have that. From what I heard in the video, she has two overheads and only one that she can even combo off of for a bar and is only usable out of her handspring move. Of course she has her F3, but those always pretty slow and react-able. Even her Canary Drop command grab looks easy to react to and is hugely unsafe from what I can tell.I mean... the whole walkthrough video that I quoted is about how strong are her OH, Lows, Command Grabs, all of them as starter or mid combo or as special move to cancel from another of the options, plus moves that can be delayed.
