"There is a huge spike in negative comments and threads in this forum. I'm going to do my best to address these concerns and criticisms in this thread.

1. Twitch streamers and YouTube channels were priority when sending these codes.

This is false. If a streamer or channel has a contact with WB or Netherrealm, they received a Beta Key in a different manner. If you used the registration while it was open, you are no worse off than anyone else. WB and Netherrealm did not research the e-mail addresses they sent codes to, in order to find out if they were streamers or channels. It was picked likely based on regions, trying to get across the map as much as they could.

With that in mind, would it not be smart on the company's behalf to get as much feedback as they can, by sending keys to these players? Either way, as stated, everyone is equal on the registration.

2. You pre-ordered the game, or even a higher priced edition, and should automatically get a key.

This is another falsehood. It doesn't make sense to only offer a beta, which is as much of a quality test as it is a preview of the game, to people who pre-ordered. They need to cover as much ground as they can and can't rely on the whim of the customer to decide whether or not they will pre-order.

3. Netherrealm or WB did not communicate, or handle the beta the way you feel they should have.

Everything you needed to know was on the registration page, and the stickied FAQ on these boards. Everything was clear, it is a closed beta, limited amounts of keys were going out, it has limited characters, modes, and arenas. Anything I missed here will be on those aforementioned pages. Any "lack of communication" was due to impatience and just running to the forums to beg for a key.

4. You did not receive a key, but "X" received multiples.

They used multiple addresses. Any image of someone having it in one inbox, uses an app that manages all their e-mail, or it's doctored. The address is wiped when a code is sent. This is also obviously an uncool move, but there's nothing that can be done about it. There are also people on here that used multiple addresses and they didn't get one key. Pro-tip: Don't purchase a code from someone, or trade them with another beta's key. You might end up with the short end of the stick.

I'm going to do what I can to get information to those that need it, but spam is spam, and admins will merge or delete posts at our discretion. Not one person is entitled to a code, and they may not get one. However, our one job as moderators is to keep everyone civil and respectful, as well as keep the forums tidy. We don't need forty threads from people begging for codes. Be patient, and if you never receive a code, we encourage you to stick with us through this game's announcements, and eventual release.

We're all Injustice fans, and we should all stick together.

Thank You"

What do you guys think?

I respectfully call bullshit, and it's even more disrespectful that they would rather lie to us lol. Priority was given. It is what it is. I'm definitely not trippen about no having a code anymore, but to bold face lie and say it was 100% random... okay homie. Keep hitting us with those #alternativefacts lmfao.

Only the top players and/or streamers would know if they were contacted or were under some type of agreement for access. I'm just a below average player interested in an opportunity to play.

The tinfoil hat salty sore losers on this website are some of the saddest I've ever seen. Like NRS is really going to physically go through a list of thousands of email addresses to figure out whose is what and prioritize accordingly.
They have been dealing with these professionals for years. They dont have to search for Sonic's email and others. They already know.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is fucking stupid.

Talk about fucking stupid

So they say its false how streamers and youtubers had priority over normal people

and then go on to describe how streamers and youtubers had priority over normal people by completely bypassing the system

gotcha

None of what they said was a lie, honestly (aside from them contradicting themselves by saying streamers and tubers weren't priority, and then go on to admit that they are). They admit that if someone had a contact with an NRS employee (as in every single top player), they received a code in a different manner. They didn't need to sit and wait for a code to be sent like us commoners. I understand that, as I know they are the priority.

I just expected to have a code by now, considering 3 "waves" have been sent out. I honestly don't believe that they've sent thousands of codes each time. We had wave 3 last night and I saw one person from TYM confirm that they got one from that wave. That's crazy.

You know tym on a given day is like, say, eighty out of probably hundreds of thousands signups? Is that really "crazy?"

Well hey if you wanna spend 100s of hours promoting their games and developing relationships in the community you too can have contacts at NRS. Till you do that get your bitch ass in line for the freebies.

I don't know any major competitive game with an early beta that doesn't send invites to some of its top personalities and players.

DotA2 was invite-only to certain people and teams for a while. Overwatch also had a completely closed invite-only beta in 2015.

At least this beta has a randomly-chosen pool to go along with it, but all the people saying they signed up 20 emails are likely ruining it for everybody else.

I can understand the frustration. But it's also exaggerated and made into a witch hunt when this is completely normal for competitive games.

It's worth it to maintain a good relationship with a developer or people who work there. And definitely not all the people who do that are top players (I'm not).
