Salty ppl? More than plenty on the PC. A few days ago fought this Aussie player. I was using my second account ( more on that in a bit). He beat me with Dragon Breath's BRC and I was using Gunslinger EB( who is not even my main). Due to me having ZERO clue on the matchup, I lost and he tbagged me. I went back to character select and used my main Ninjutsu Scorpion. I mopped him and tbagged him during the match and at the end. He left and after that he said "only scrubs win with scorpion lol" and proceeded to call me a "kid" (very ironic considering he was the one who tbagged me first) and I just typed "let the salt flow boy".

Now onto why I use my second account. This is because players on PC have a disgusting obsession with win/loss records. Because my win/loss record on my main account is relatively high, many ppl do not accept challenges when I use my main account, but when I return to challenge them with my second account, they instantly accept. This is apparent when after I fought Korean or Japanese player one day (he left after two games), he said "not good. On a 2 game lose streak". Like wth

And the PC community is absolutely disgusting imo. A lot of ppl who purposefully go afk and do nothing after hitting rematch knowing that u will kick their ass if they legitimately played you, players plugging off their ethernet cord after a win, players complaining about spam when it is not spam like Ninjutsu's F2, name calling after a match, and countless quitalities. Makes me really tempted to switch to console.

The best one I can think of is playing some kid on MK9 and I picked sheeva and did her forward grab dash and kept doing the same thing and he didn't know how to get out of it (cross over or armor, cant do anything else, it was a neat little sheeva trick) and he was screaming in the mic so bad that i could hear his dad come in and yell at him. he was maybe 15 or 16 lol. miss that game

Oh, man. Hearing kids get into trouble by their parents over the mic is the best effin' thing ever.

Fellow PC player here, I wanted to correct you on something: the PC community isn't really (that) trash, it's just that decent and above players almost never play in rooms, we know each other and always go private with a few exeptions since MK9 really.

what you see are the left overs, and I guarantee it's all true about the win/loss ratio as I too have 2 smurfs (the first one also got too high) to use when nobody from my friend list is online. the wire plug to get no losses is also true, but people do that on PS4 too far as I know.

ps: I added you on Steam, so we can play once in a while, you should add @RVB too as he does some neat streams for the PC community.

I think the only Online matches I've played since the MKXL PC Beta was a Private set with @Gooberking , otherwise I haven't touched it.

Sounds about right though, especially with the win/loss ratio obsession. For me, in the past, I've used them as a guideline as I know they're not necessarily accurate for predicting success. Usually if I have a low chance of winning, (red percentage as I recall) I'll pass unless I'm looking for a challenge or match up experience. If it's yellow or green I'll give it a go.

But yeah, the disconnecting, tea bagging, spam accusation for silly things, etc. are all the norm and sap some of the fun for me.

For the PC community as a whole, if the Steam forums are any indication it's also no surprise. I don't post there anymore since that board is extremely special, though I lurk on occasion and usually get a headache as a result.

I srsly have no clue. but generally I cant play european players. I have shura added as a fren(his is also italian in case u dont know) and his ping was like 400+ms. The closest thing to Europe I can play is the Asia side of Russia.
