Normalize grab immunity.
Sim has not one single tool that's harder to execute than chun, karin, or cammys and they're all too tier. Instant air tele/gale/drill are all as easy or easier than the other instant airs in this game because of the more lenient height restrictions.

Also I do still say that in its purest form a tier list examines characters in a vacuum. Player skill is irrelevant and it's assumed that the player can utilize all of the characters tools, otherwise what's the point.
Didn't the same thing happen with Gen? Like Xian literally singlehandedly put that character up the tier list. Just because he was the only one who really put the tools and setups to use.

The same thing pretty much happened with Ken and Ryu. Normals too stubby, v-skill sucks, can't zone, whatever other complaint we heard early on. Then as people learned the characters they naturally got boosted up the tiers. I'm positive if it wasn't for Chris G, ISDD, and Du, we'd see Guile chilling at the bottom tier or bottom of the mid tiers at most. Just the way it always works in the FGC. If you look at Ultra David's tier list history you can see the progression of some characters.

I'm not saying it happened to Sim specifically, but I see where @Kroaken is coming from. It's just one of the constant trends in fighting games.

Question for anyone: what tournament did RB have that initial showing of Urien?

@ILuvFightGames This "Ibuki vs Street Fighter" footage is exactly the type of shit that makes me want to play her. Really the only thing stopping me is having to grind FM after I purchase her. :oops:
Yea man those ibukis are obviously deadly. I'm still not convinced that Ken's run is better than her dash because it seems she can almost choose what side her opponent will have to block making it kinda hard for the opponent.

Her light dash stays in front and her med crosses up. So she can choose what side, but just like Kens run she is always negative (outside a setup or two.. is she 0 after mk.TC? Hopefully someone can chime in here) So she can make you guess unless you just jab her out. Or throw. Or reversal. Or neutral jump and take 20-35% of your life. Or whatever you feel like doing. Now, to be fair, if she has established pressure, then just like Ken's run she can get away with being negative and do work, but it's a MU knowledge thing. Once people realize what you're doing they will explode you. Also. The dash is no where near fast enough to cause a guess. You can 100% react to which side they end up on. (Outside of certain setups) You just block normally when you see the dash and if it travels through your body you swap sides. Or just jab.

Hits behind so has to be blocked crossup, but shr lands in front so further offense must be blocked normally. You can delay the jump normal as well to actually land in front and I'm pretty sure you can hit it super early to not cross up at all, though I don't know what that does to combo timing afterwards. Supsr easy to setup off a meaty MK.TC when close/in to the corner. Pretty sure you can reversal out or (some characters) can jab. But don't take that as gospel until you test for.yourself. I can't remember my original findings.

Endless Kunai.
Two bar bombs
Better meter build
Command Grab
2f Jab
Small handgun
Sonic booms
Command grab (I want more than one)
Everything absolutely everything plus
Less terrifying face.

She can set it up but it's pretty easy to get out of with v reversals or dps. Chun can do the same thing too with her v skill.

What changes would you like to see for her? Or expecting?
If the meta doesn't change much I think she could with more damage and better neutral. A cancellable low so people can't just walk away from pressure would be good as would another safe special to cancel into that isn't limited (tsumuji)

I've said it before I know, but I'd really like to see her target combo to be cancellable into her vskill. She can get trigger faster.

Do you think the trigger should stay the same if it's not infinite? How would it run out?

Do you think aa jab will still be a thing in s2
Hopefully not cast wide. But even then I can see characters like Gief getting toned down.

Liked but then I had to unlike bc I missed the 1st point initially lol.

Definitely agree though that aa jabs should be adjusted on a character to character basis, and maybe even not at all for some of the ones you mentioned. Hopefully Capcom isn't as asinine as NRS when it comes to broad sweeping balance changes.
