For people who might be worried about the final set-up being super strong you can wake-up tech roll back throw against the cyrax to avoid this option as-well (you get launched LOL) but you are out the set-up. Although he can probably just not dash and B3d4 you for full combo

Edit3: want even more hit advantage? lower the gravity by doing 1 less S4. You can meaty b3 even raidens sparkport!

New corner conversion! Easier and with some delayed wake-up dirt! These have less hit adv for some reason and can be tech rolled jumped out! gonna find a work around.

There was a big Triborg advocate within the testing team. He is highly skilled and intelligent and his input went into making Triborg - especially Cyrax - amazing. There was much complaining in the community and Cyrax and Cyber Sub were hit hard with a patch. Then, the team was tepid in listening to this tester again because although he was a brilliant player - they questioned his motives. So, he came up with a way to help Cyrax and Cyber Sub without making them seem broken - and it was to give them great options, but much less of them in number. Playing these characters went from free-form to strict form.

No matter what happens going forward, there will not be enough data to take this away from you - so, if you want to become a Cyrax (or Cyber Sub) player, jump in with this data.

Thanks Zionix. You may not think of yourself as a great player, but you were able to see beyond what had been established to see what was really there. Maybe you can do the same with Cyber Sub, although I admit that the storyteller said that the team's grip was harder on CSZ because of how loud the backlash was for his initial build. Undiscovered tech exists for CSZ in accord with Cyrax if this is real.

Well to be fair, the character was FAR from balanced. He was most likely the best character in the game due to the fact that he had LITERALLY everything you want in a character and did all those things better than everyone else. HOWEVER! They hit him way too damn hard. There were some nerfs that just didn't need to happen.

i find it quite shocking that someone at nrs would want to make triborg "awesome" (read: better than other characters). if they are not even aiming for perfect balance in the production, it would explain a lot of their problems...

7:52 - Thanks for mentioning me, but I literally never use 212 I usually end my corner combos with an NJK/bomb setup or 114-bomb, which is safe.

I've always felt like Cyrax's corner game was super strong and highly underrated, I just use different tech than you.

And just in general good space control. Good meterless damage. His mix didn't need to be safe because if he touched you once you just died most of the time (especially in the corner) his neutral was godlike and so was his setplay. AKA, everything you want in a character.

As related to the video, a recommendation would be either posting a time stamp or an annotation link to 11:00 minutes or whenever the actual tech starts, because putting GAME CHANGING in the title and then spending 11 minutes bitching about the community for the character you're trying to bring up is pretty rough.

edit: seriously, I want to get behind the content of the video, but the amount of itme spent listening to you talk about scenarios while staring at a pause screen is jarring. As someone with no familiarity with Cyrax (or the community) it is impossible to follow. You should definitely re-record a version where you let the ai perform your set ups and you show how inescapable or what your options are and then commentate over it, or just use annotations to explain the set ups.

take away the iceball and demo sonya had everything he has and better. i'm not saying he shouldn't have been toned down but dude didn't have everything. everyone was so dramatic and normally when people are that dramatic, you can still here the voice of reason saying "yo cill he's nasty but let's just calm down for now". but as soon as reo said he's broke gameover

of course they do have differnet opinions, but they still should be AIMING to balance it all, not just say "dude lets make this character super-awesome" (with the meaning of "way better than the rest", as the initial post sounded to me).

sonya has a fullscreen armored slide, a backdash move that cancels into anything including set-up, safe divekicks that turn bombs into HTB's, and an extended hitbox sword that reaches 2/3's of the screen? fuck thats just the tip of it, CSZ still has stuff sonya doesnt have (and vice versa), CSZ pre nerf 1 was ridiculous. Nerf 2 heavily over did it, and nerf 3 was just ridiculous, but let's not act like he was fine on release lol

It isn't just a tech video, its a rant, i put that in the title. Yes there is tech there, but I made this video for multiple reasons.

If people can't be arsed watching or skipping then they don't have to watch it. I personally hate 30 second clips with no explanation on timings or placements, I end up spending 30 minutes just working out how to replicate the tech in the first place.

I can also understand people who like just getting down to point, time is important but not everybody has the same problem and some might enjoy having something to watch.

If i could chop bits out I would but I don't have the software to do it and it means re-recording the video everything I mess something up or ramble on for too long.
