relative to the characters around him he's honest. there's nothing dirty about antiairng and throwing projectiles especially in sfv it's pretty straightforward. his vtrigger is useful like everyone else that isnt fang.

hes definitely the most honest that guile has ever been, but that's still on the grimy side of things. Only reason he's not top 5 is his anti airs being unreliable. If the give meterless flash kick invincibility he'll be as dirty as they come.

Yea I remember back in the day sf 2, Guile was OP. Although Ryu was still #1, but that was because Tomo Ohira played Ryu. Ah the memories!
On paper he's not a top 5 contender and I could prob name 10 characters that seem better than him but he'd be # 11 at worst right now. the buffs i want him for arent matchup changing just consistency (invincible flash kick because aas especially when you have the charge but the window is so small to react to certain moves that you lose/trade or just block, but obviously this would affect every matchup as a side effect) and less limitations like his vtrigger boom not having less hit advatange than a regular boom or airbone sobat etc
The only thing I want for guile is better walkspeed. Would help with his lackluster normals in footsies.

One possibility I would like to mention. Maybe Akuma can transform into Oni with his v-trigger. This would actually make sense. It would work like Necalli's. If he's powered up when he does his CA, it shows a different Kanji.

Its the same kanji as shin akuma in cvs2. and the rope gloves are a giveaway. if v trigger changes hin to oni this would be the hypest shit ever.
Yep. Just saw some people posted this on twitter. So maybe it's Akuma that turns into Shin Akuma when V-Trigger activates. Or maybe he just turns into Shin Akuma when he does his CA.
akuma has had that kanji before. But not for a long time. Skin color and ropes suggest akuma but I dunno. I'd be hype for either one.
