Revenant Zero

Death Comes
So this may be a stupid question but...
Barrier of Frost can parry 2 hit armor moves?
I tried this with Scorpion's Takedown (Raw and EX) and both got parried with regular barrier.

So if Unb has me in the corner and I njk his parry, why does it tag him but when Mileena does her telekick, she gets tagged by the parry?
Mileena telekick counts as a ground move, because it starts on the ground, as scorpion teleport the touches the ground when he got to the other side even if it's airbone.

Barrier of Frost can punish teleporting enemies better than IC from GM?
(What about vertical teleporting enemies (Imposter Shinnok, Triborg - Sektor, Smoke, Possessed Kenshi)
Only teleports which animations starts on the ground (Quan Chi teleport, Smoke teleport, Scorpion and Mileena so far). Also you can parry Goro telestomp on the way up (before he gets airborne), You can't on Ermac because he's always airborne for no reason.

I'll need to lab this because I have a hard time countering teleporters as GM, so I'm hoping Unb has a better percentage of success.

Unbreakable is a good shit to counter those teleporters on reaction. I already got used of doing IK on Mileena's telekick and Goro's and Smoke's Skydrop attack. IK is always hard against Scorpion and the rest, because of the strict timing there, so better get the UB.

I labbed with one of training buddies Ninjutsu Vs. GM/Unb. GM has a HUGE edge in the corner, just because corner jail + combos usually costs 1 bar to none for 30+%, but at the same time the mid/OH always gets me against that specific Scorpion variation. I switched to Unb because I know EX Aura reduces damage and lord behold, the mid hit before OH is parried easily for a corner carry. Now I need to know certain MUs that Unb does better than GM in.

Those certain MUs that UB is better than GM are those very aggressive ones, like Predator, and teleporters, like Scorpion and Raiden, and especially Thunder God. The EX Aura is just the same like the normal ones, but buffs a bit the DMG.

30%, eh? I can do more than this shitz. Add me in Steam: Tannosuke, and let's play there. I need to adjust my PS4 controller here. ;)

GM Vs. Predator seems to be about even, as long as GM doesn't get zoned out or make terrible reads like low laser or gets low poked often. I do agree that Unb holds the hot matches better than GM. GM needs to slow that momentum and take his time to deal massive damage.

Sure, but I'm currently working... (bahhhh)

I played as GM against some scrubs, so it was a good idea to test my thumb, which now is OK, and some techs I wanted to check out. I'm surprised that even if the opponent goes to the other side, I kould do the Ice Burst/Frost Bomb to get him back to his original side. This Ice bomb's radius is a bit longer than it was pre-patch.

This kould be a good AA.

@Nu-Skoool

Update: Yep, it does. If you hear the armor sound/time down the attack, you can knock down Kenshi again. Tried F12 to trigger it, then I ran and re-did the F12 in time, and it KO Kenshi without being hit. I'm in PC, so I don't know the proper program to record it than Bandicam, which, IMO, is a bit shit.

Moves that do hit like F12:

B1xxSlide
12xxSlide
F12
F42

I think that I found out why. That's because its Start-Up is 23 frames, which makes it more slow compared to the upper moves.

Gut Buster (B1) is 11 frames as start up.
Black Ice (12) is 12 frames as start up
Ice Age (F12) is 18 frames as start up (this one works in corner, too, if strictly timed down)
Cold Blooded (F42) is 22 frames as start up.

And if you add the Slide, you avoid being hit. The Cold Blooded is a good pressuring combo string compared to the others, plus makes Sub Zero slightly crouching, while avoiding his attack.

Conclusion: Kenshi's attack has a weakness, and that's the fast pressure strings.
