Couldn't have said it better myself. It's sad really, Sun God is my favourite but he's just so 'pilot' mode compared to the other two. The armour whiffs half of the time, so it's just mediocre overall.

Option select armor move kills the mind game.
Baiting the option select armor move is not intended I guess. That's not how it should be played (and definitely not efficient).

I love sun god but above a certain level it might be less fun. Just do not take it serious but have fun with him.

For me War god is less fun but more serious. I can boost myself with him as he is strong and cruel.

I'm pretty sure it's a true 50/50, I sure as hell can't fuzzy it

It's definitely possible to Fuzzy.

But you can raw overhead to make the overhead faster, you can stagger B1 and F3 for a slower low. You can B1 xx low sword. So many ways to mess with their timing.

War God's true 50/50 launcher IMO is raw EX overhead and F3 xx EX overhead.

No fuzzying or reacting to that, unless you're that guy in the Kano forums.

f2 f2 f2 b122db1 ?

This one deals 35%, yet I've seen many people go for a much lower damaging version involving f1b2 and ending in df2 that deals about 29% or so. Is it about the frame advantage or the spacing? Is the frame advantage really worth over 5% damage every single time?

Hard knockdown. Plus frames. Perfect spacing. It is 100% worth it. It puts you at the perfect range for your pokes/pressure and keeps your momentum going.

And it's like 2-3% less Ing dmg so definitely worth it

Since armored launchers and 50/50's(and indirectly through that, mix-ups) are getting fucked, how do we think War God is gonna come out of this patch?

I get the feeling they're gonna grab EXdb1, take it out back, push it to its knees, and uncaringly blow its brains out onto the floor. They're probably gonna break regular db1's legs while they're at it.

Man, that sure was a convoluted analogy.

War God will be the only drastically different one, other two will play pretty much the same and who knows maybe War God keeps his overhead sword but it's made more punishable (which would be fine)

I think Sun God will suffer some nerfs, if he doesn't, he might be a little OP. He will have a strong guessing game. (B122 or B14GRAB) for example.

Because he might be one of few characters with a strong, damaging and safe guessing game

If they touch his armor launcher, i will probably stop playing him since thats 90% of wargod to me

Because the meta of the game is changing drastically, characters that were simply good before might become amazing now. I don't know about OP though.

Staggers can take you only so far, they cant win you a game combined with his obnoxious mid to far range game especially in war god, he will be gutted if they take armor out of his ex db1
