"A lot of SFV has turned into a guessing game" thank you Infiltration
Why is everyone quoting only that part? Literally the next statement is comparing SF4 defense and how you backdash for everything. Now you have to decide on an option with risk/reward.
Holy shit Myles I just rewatched that video. He goes on to describe how getting thrown into a vortex is less of a thing. How you have to focus on timing instead of just following a safe flowchart to beat most players. Jesus did you watch that video.
Daigo loses in the states after winning Back 2 tournaments
Nuckledu won Absolute Battle. 13th at First Attack 1 week later
MOV gets top 8 at EVO, wins an EU ranking event then loses in pools next tournament
Where were Momochi, Tokido and Justin Wong at EVO?
Sounds like players are traveling, getting experience in a game that isn't even a year old.
Again, this isn't the NRS scene, it's actually ok if more than one guy wins everything and top 8s differentiate from one another.
Again, look through the capcom cup rankings. Out of everyone currently qualified for the regionals and whatever else before the capcom cup and the actual capcom cup, who is the random unknown player, with no skill. I'll wait for this crazy identity who's only footage is the single tourney run. Otherwise SFV results look like the ideal for what happens when high level players compete in a balanced game.
