This is the problem with SFV. It has been dumbed down to the point where players of your calibre can pick it up, use a top tier character and feel like they're Daigo or Infiltration

People think the have anti-airs because Combofiend gave them a 3f jab

People think they have footsies when they're using Nash or Chun

@Aramonde even though this guy has worse neutral than fl rushdown ryu, do you see how I never walked back? you have to hold your ground and keep them out of crossup range with booms while punishing whatever yolo moves they throw out. 90% effective win strategy if you did this to the ranked guys you run into

playing guile and Nash and forcing your opponents to jump doesn't mean you have good neutral there champ, it's actually kind of a requirement in the matchup. Lemme know when you actually post a video that counts as an accomplishment though.

also learn how to read i didn't say this is gdlk guile neutral just a basic guideline for someone struggling to play him.

guile has a good enough fireball/ground game that if you're not at least looking for an opportunity to jump in you're putting yourself at a disadvantage. Even jumping specifically to get anti aired once in awhile is worth it in a set to make the guile at least pay attention to the air game, or possibly force him to spend meter to AA which makes the ground game easier when there aren't any ex booms.

And yes, there are certain characters/matchups where jumping is forced in certain situations, a gief is never going to get in on a Nash/Guile without at least jumping full screen booms.

But hey, keep coming on here and bragging about your godlike skills to the bronze players. I'm sure they appreciate your douchebag attitude and trash talk.

VF is very punishing. A character on there has a 7 frame flash kick that does 40% on counter hit and is safe. Point being, every game has its bullshit. Every single one.
