Street Fighter V General Discussion

I'll be back 3ing
It's a shame even pro Chun Li players don't know that, imagine how many events Chun Li would have won if they did? She's won like what, one event so far? Also when are you gonna release kp3? (Kabal please)
Don't fall into the trap of thinking Chun-Lis tournament results mean she isn't broken. I didn't know what having no options truly meant until I played Chun-Li in this game and started having nightmares

(Uses top tier character)[Attempts to use the success of an 18 year old japanese boy to push his propaganda campaign]
Rashid is better than Juri

Yea I'll start believing you when evidence and not opinion show that.

Ps-Kabal please.

chun Li is the best character in the game. Yes. She's got some broken stuff. Kinda. Chun Li is unbeatable and every loss I've taken vs one is not my fault. Fuck no.

You aren't good enough to blame your losses on character selection Myles. No one here is. No one in this forum is playing their characters to their peak potential. So let me reiterate. Get good.

It's not an opinion, Chun-Li plays by her own rules. Justin Wong is picking up Chun and GO1 tweeted earlier today that he thinks she beats everyone in the game

What you are saying would hold weight if you weren't talking about an S+ tier character that you think is 'kinda' good

Ok then I want Justin wong to prove me wrong and I want GO1 to also prove me wrong. I'll be waiting.

ALRIGHT! I plan on grabbing this around December because that will basically be when the magic of the MKX balance patch will wear off. I have a few questions before I get it

1: How good is Necali and what is his play style? I heard he has good frame traps and he looks cool as hell so I will most likely play him first. I ask how good he is not because I want to only play good characters, I only ask because I need to know what I'm getting into.

2: How easy is it to get into this game? I've been playing fighting games for most of my life but I've never gotten super into SF, and since Urien is coming at some point, and Urien is actually the coolest, I want to finally join the SF Community.

3 and Finally: How fun is it? I've heard about 50/50 on the fun factor for it. It looks like my kind of thing but is it worth? Also, how hard is linking in this? Is it super tight or relatively loose?

1. Necalli is very strong and plays a pretty straight forward game. He relies on good buttons in neutral and high damage mixups to make his opponents afraid to press buttons and challenge him. If you're capable of using his tools well and have an understanding of fundamental concepts like footsies, shimmies, and throw/meaty mixups you can beat any character using him.

2. It's difficult if it's your first fighting game, but if you've already got decent execution and knowledge of fighting game concepts it's very accessible. If you can play games like guilty gear, marvel, or KoF it's a walk in the park. Slow paced strategy where you live and die on a few individual decisions every round.

3. If you enjoy fighting games online/multiplayer then you'll like it. The gameplay is awesome, and the balance is good. If you prefer a single player experience I'd avoid it since there's almost no content.

Necalli is good AND matches my play style? I'm in heaven. I've have been aching for slower games, slow fighting games feel like high stakes chess and that appeals to me and if it's balanced and fun then looks like i'll be playing in december!

Normalize grab immunity.
Not even. Mid tier. No defense on kd and slow normals
No defense: easiest anti air for everything with a single button. EX Bull Horn got armor frame 1. Git Gud at button charges. With two 4 frame normals you'll be fine. You're shit reaches the moon. @FL Rushdown don't let this wolf put the wool over your eyes.

EDIT: and if you think a throw is coming do EX Killing Head
