Who do you think are the 5 most "OP" fighters in MKXL?

No surprise there with the top two. I would like Sonya grenades to be mids that don't hit you if you release block or have them disappear when she gets hit. Anything is better than the free pressure and safe 50/50s she gets now.

Alien, Sonya, Takeda, Mileena, Johnny.

I'm not even sure I would use the term OP though. The top 5 aren't blatantly obvious, and there are ALOT of viable characters / variations now. Jax is ridiculous. Ermac and Kano are insane. Jacqui has always been severely under rated (sans her t rex limbs), Liu Kang is still Liu Kang, Lao is super good, Erron Black is still a thing, D'Vorah could be thrown into the top 5 discussion, for some reason people stopped complaining about Kung Jin even though he's almost just as retarded as he was in vanilla, a well played reptile is absurd, Quan Chi is still really good, Cassie can fuck right the hell off, Jason and Leatherface have shown viability, Shinnok is still placing in top 8s.

FIVE OP characters is what he wants? If he's gonna get feedback from twitter and there are seriously FIVE characters getting nerfed, then there's gonna be some unwarranted BS coming.

I've always said I don't think there is a Top 5. There's like a top 3 and then there's a top 8. 4-8 are all interchangeable in my opinion.
1.) Sonya
2.) Mileena
3.) Alien
4.) Kano
5.) Johnny
6.) Dvorah
7.) Takeda
8.) Jacqui
Sonya and Kano are not OP?? If they were then I haven't seen anyone who play them to get me to relax this otherwise.

I think nearly everyone is in agreement that we have Alien, Sonya, Mileena, and Takeda.

Then the 5th gets debatable between Johnny, Kano, and D'Vorah.

Anything after that seems like a drop off in comparison when talking about "OP tools", characters, and whatnot.

Hopefully the right thing is done by toning these guys down a little while buffing the true bad variations (Hat Trick, Balanced, Master of Storms, etc), and leaving the mid tiers alone other than their hitbox or consistency issues.
