in beta, his shield would freeze air attacks .. that would be good
and faster recovery on the shield
don't see him getting anything else really, one or two of the above.

As somebody mentioned, the Paralympic Games will start September 7th and Ed said that he miss the Olympics. So, maybe this is a hint.

But don't forget about TCW (17-18 September). It would be wrong to release a patch before the tournament. So I guess that the next week is a great time for some news and releases

The last two times they've dropped major patches they've devoted entire Kombat Kasts to them, so expect that. At the very least, 16bit will show up and post that dolphin a couple more times first. They aren't going to just drop an update this afternoon with a tweet like MKX is some five dollar steam greenlight game.

All of this paralympics talk and da vinci-codian release date math has got to stop.

I think it will come out this week or next week, with previous Kombat Kast, maybe.

Definitely it should come out before TCW.

I use D'Vorah, and I'm pretty consistent on reacting to jumps and run ins. Her s1 is a pretty good tool for that.

I find it amusing how everyone thinks this game can be perfectly balance. It should be obvious after every patch, certain chars will float to the top and other will float to the bottom.

It's really whack-a-mole when it comes to nerfing and buffing. In the end the perceived "bottom tier" are ignored by the players and remain there as the "me too" players jump on the fresh "top-tier" chars.

The true value of the patch system is taking care of exploits and bugs. The obvious one that I have seen being the sub-zero issue with opponent hit-box problems.

NRS has access to a ridiculous amount of analytics from battles both online and single player. I am pretty confident they know what needs to be done.

And Doomsday was also in the the background of the Fortress of Solitude stage and he was in the game from launch, not even DLC.

Also, I'm seeing a lot of talk about nerfing Kotal. I'll be really bummed if the only character I really enjoy playing gets fucked over.

If b21's whiffing issues on crouch block opponents could get fixed for Smoke, Id be soooo happy. And maybe his d1 could stop getting low profiled by Mileena, too. Thatd be great.

NRS seems to have a strange way of patching, usually changing things that the community has barely mentioned. So come what may.

Mkx is the name , Mix is the game
Aftershock Is decent, not great but decent. Had great zoning. One of the best in the game but still lacks some needed things

I wonder what Boon's state of mind is when he messes with his Twitter. Is it like on morning Monday coffee when he has this terrible hang over after long MIDAWAY weekend with the boys. Or perhaps in the middle of the week when he is in the chill out room with his MIDWAY homies....

You know, You might be right. As much as all this twitter bs is annoying I personally think its fun. MIDWAY boys since day one the were doing jokes even inside the game. And I think even though they were saved, bought out by WB or whatever You wanna call it, they kept that swag running in the company. I am not so up to date with SF nor Tekken news or the other FGC but I guess they dont have the pleasure, that level of involvement (even if this drippin troll allover) from the producers like we do.

I think now, after the years. Its more then that. I think since MK9 it kinda got that deep. I think its about being with in the community. As producers and gamers in a way thats where they like to be. I think it comes also from the fact that as game design company they dont have many projects they dont have to focus on from within the core. Right now they can be part of the environment which is fun to them because aside from all the fun here and there they want to be here. I mean at the tournaments, talk to fans, be part of this living organism. So instead of posting on facebook or aside from facebook boons love to Twit with his game fans on Twitter.

The awsome thing for me is It can't get any worse for me, i have never been a Tier Whore. ive always gravitated to the Mid to Lower tier characters, for some reasoni have liked the odd ones: Brood Mother/Hat Trick/Master Of Storms/High Tech/Cyrax/Cyber Sub Zero (borgs just cuz they borgs they all need help.. Kenjitsu since Day one/Konjurer/Demo day one/Brawler Day one/Tanya Dragon Naginata/Cybernetic/Mournful
like i said never really picked the top 10 characters. so im only going equal to higher ground. but ill get to watch the Mileena/Alien/Johnny/KungJin/Takeda/Sonya and all the top tiers fall a bit after watching all my favorites unjustly fall and maybe us low tiers will see something in our favor for once.
Kenjitsu Buffs #Make Kenshi safe like the rest of the cast! ( DB1 lesson recovery) ( BF2 becomes -9 with same pushback) Cyrax time to shine he died before he lived. Cyber sub Zero baby. Hat Trick comes alive.
And i hope we get the following characters, any of them would make me happy as hell:

  • Rain
  • Noob Saibot
  • Fujin
  • Sindel
  • Kabal
  • Baraka
  • Stryker
  • Sareena
  • Frost
I can't fucking wait, all the Drags on TYM can be pessimistic while i have faith in what i know is coming.
Balance patch's/KP3/PC MKXL
and quite possibly a Long haired Kenshi
