Chances of there being a MK guest DLC in Injustice 2?

In defense of Sub-Zero and Captain Cold both being in the game, I don't see how they would play the same so it could work. If 3 variations of the literal same character can have completely diverse movesets and playstyles, then so could two totally different characters. Not that I think Sub-Zero should be in(even though it would make me very happy) but it can't be ruled out.

It is definitely going to be sub zero. If captain cold is playable they ll give him his own moveset, I simply cannot imagine Captain cold with subby's slide and ice klone.

Not to mention the first Injustice had characters with the same powers and abilities and NRS found ways to make them play differently. Superman & Zod, Batman & Batgirl, Green Lantern & Sinestro and Shazam & Black Adam. And now we have Superman & Supergirl for Injustice 2.

I don't even want Sub-Zero as a guest for Injustice 2, but yeah Captain Cold being playable wouldn't automatically disconfirm him.

If they must put an MK char in, I'd like to see Kotal Kahn. Gear and weapon wise I think he'd fit in nicely.

The only problem is Lamar is already doing the voice for Aquaman so would be weird to have the same voice for 2 characters in the same game.

Also it better be Ferra/Torr.
Or Whoever/Ferra if they use grown up Ferra.

In the first game, plenty of characters had the same voice actor. Aquaman & John Stewart, Flash & Damian Wayne, Harley Quinn & Raven, Hawkgirl & Killer Frost, Shazam & Black Adam, Deathstroke & Ares, Sinestro & Dick Grayson and Doomsday & Cyborg. So it wouldn't be unusual.

Yeah I have to say as a growing voice actor myself, I can do many voices and have for projects. It's good if the voice actor has the range, if the actor sounds the same for every voice then it's not a good idea but someone like Phil Lamarr is a great voice actor, he did GL in the animated series and it was a bit deeper and sounded different than AM in Injustice, he actually sounds white lol.

So I'm fine with the voice actor doing 3 or 4 voices, if they can do it why not? Dude that does Erron Black's voice can do many voices, some voice actors can do it, others can't.

Shinnok and Erron are both voiced by Troy Baker. Sub-Zero and Reptile are both voiced by Steve Blum.

I don't care for guest chars either but Boon keeps emphasizing that Scorpion was the best selling DLC for Inj1. Sad but true. So the consumers have spoken. At least if it's sub-zero, he kind of fits into the DC mythos.

Now just imagine for just a second what would happen if a guest DLC char was the Hulk or Spider-man. You want to talk about breaking DLC records, damn that would be insane.
Disney and WB are sitting on a virtual gold mine with a Marvel vs. DC game yet neither are smart enough to take advantage of it. I am sure it's the spaghetti of licenses that keeps it from happening right now but wow would that be awesome. It's sad how a MvC 4 can't happen right now. The pent up demand is through the roof right now for the sequel.

WB would be for it before Disney, but Disney would probably consider the supers not kid friendly enough. lol if the movies and current games are any indication of how DC and Marvel contrast.

Same with MK vs. SF, Boon even said he'd be all for it but Capcom is like "uhh not sure if want to see Ken's head ripped off" so yeah...that ain't ever happening lol. The styles are just too different, WB is into the photorealistic, darker style where as Disney Marvel are into the anime looking style. It's like day and night.

I do find it a bit ironic that Disney allows WB to make their lego games though...go figure.

I would personally like to see dualist liu kang because the dark orbs could cause a mix up situation. Making him actually competitively viable in this game. There's some other notable character that I could've added to the poll such as Jax, sonya, kitana, ect but I think their chances to make the game are too slim. Of course I added goro he's been a previous mk raining champion :)

As in like horizontal htb's? That just sounds like a nightmare lol but I think goro vs the likes of bane, grundy, doomsday, Lex, and other big characters from dc would be hype

Gear would be mad dope. I love the parry but it takes a backseat once you put the ice clone into the situation. It has every limited uses because ice clone does the same thing just more safer. Parry is just faster.
