May I ask why you say this?I actually played KI a ton. I just don't think its nearly as deep as MKX.

Tekken is probably on Friday or Saturday.I didn't see tekken on the list? Maybe I am blind or rmissed something ?
You've got a lot of anger rooted in denial and hyperbole. Might want to talk to a professional about that.Overwatch would get a shit ton of entrants if they held it at EVO, as well. The number of entrants doesn't justify it being at EVO alongside true fighters.
I'm well aware that I sound irrational, but I despise the game and will never consider it a fighter. I'd rather watch Divekick than Smash. I'd rather watch my parents fuck than Smash. I'd rather watch anything than Smash.
I understand why it was added to the lineup, though. I just don't want to see it. It takes up what seems like 9 hours on Sunday, as well.
This statement could not be more right.Leave KI out of this, that game is the best designed fighter out right now. If you think the breaking system is no more than a mini game you are dead wrong
Are you positive you know how to play fighting gamesSnip
...because it utilizes a universal system with nuances to each character rather than have characters with unique move-sets. Also, the combo and breaker systems are mini-games within the actual game rather than being based on physics.May I ask why you say this?
Ooooh, swing and a miss. You know bud, your window for politely bowing out and admitting you know nothing about KI is quickly closing....because it utilizes a universal system with nuances to each character rather than have characters with unique move-sets. He's not angry at all. He's simply saying how he sees it. Its generally passive-aggressive responses like your own that come from anger. You've got a lot of anger rooted in denial and hyperbole. Might want to talk to a professional about that.

Consistently one of the most watched games on twitch for FGsHe's not angry at all. He's simply saying how he sees it. Its generally passive-aggressive responses like your own that come from anger.
I don't get Marvel enough to understand what's always going on, but I'm entertained by it anyway. Smash, I get - but, seriously - who the hell wants to watch that? It may be fun to play, but its terrible to watch.
Try to dismiss me, but its the truth. Even at MKX's highest levels, there are things guys can and cannot do. At KI's highest levels, its about choice - but everyone can do the same things. You may not like what I'm saying, but KI's combo and breaker system is a mini-game that not only makes it easier to learn, but to code as well.Ooooh, swing and a miss. You know bud, your window for politely bowing out and admitting you know nothing about KI is quickly closing.
When have you ever seen a dropped combo in KI? Its a mini-game.None of that is true

It is obviously my choice but I play most of the newer fighters (Marvel, MKX, KI, BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, Smash, Pokken, SFV) and enjoy each for what they have to offer....because it utilizes a universal system with nuances to each character rather than have characters with unique move-sets. Also, the combo and breaker systems are mini-games within the actual game rather than being based on physics.
It still sucks. Game (mkx )has an announcement that will be made by NRS at like what 9:30am? Kinda sad a game that has a big pot bonus & has the developers at hand will be given this time. I hate to sound entitled but wtf.. #walksaway before i say something that gets big brother to give me a strike heh.We have low numbers, expect to have shitty time. If you want better time, go support your game. This is not hard guys, stop complaining
People drop combos all the time, it cost me last monthly, it cost players at NWM, it cost players all the time. When have you ever seen a dropped combo in KI? Its a mini-game.
That's because it isn't really a fighting game; its a platformer - and everyone loves Nintendo.
Real fighting game players are only watching it in anticipation of watching something else - usually Marvel.

Regardless of a game mechanics being based on physics or not, holds no weight on whether or not it is deep and/or layered.

KI at the highest level doesn't only rely on the traditional advertisedYes, it does.
Is UFC 2 as deep as real fighting games? Hell no! Mini-games within the actual game, even ones as good as the ones in KI, detract from the overall complexity of the game as a whole. Simple doesn't mean bad, but you can't compare KI to MKX. MKX is in a whole different stratosphere.
You are sure you arent talking about MKX here LOL. Armor, sprinting, and stamina define the game. KI characters and their archetypes are 10000x more unique than characters in MKX. You have no idea what you are talking about....because it utilizes a universal system with nuances to each character rather than have characters with unique move-sets.
