I think she's great. My difficulty is getting damage. I can't do her vortex and I drop everything so I have to get in like 16 times to win. This is a problem, but it's my problem not anything wrong with Frost.

Killer Frost is just another character destroyed by the community and there is no stopping it. Whenever a game comes out everyone insists on 'knowing better' and what they can't handle with at that current time has to be broken and therefore nerfed. As far as I'm aware it happened in MK9, clearly happened in Injustice and it almost definitely will happen again in MKX

Killer frost was as "destroyed" as Deathstroke was, which is to say, not at all.

She still had ridiculous damage, ridiculous 50/50s, ridiculous wakeup, good bait and punish game, best parry in the game, unblockable resets, decent zoning and overall decent matchup spread.

She's not low tier by any stretch of the imagination and to claim that she was "ruined" is not only a gross downplay, but shows lack of fundamental understanding when it comes to Killer Frost and how she plays. Yes she was "fine" by the end of the games life. No she didn't need buffs.

Fair enough haha. I stand by my statement that KF was not a bad character and probably sat in the 10-15 range.

If the bottom 5 is say, Arrow, Cyborg, Joker, Scorpion, and Ares, or something along those lines, I have her slightly above that. High end of a bottom 10. Not much better than a Grundy or Shazam, and below a Catwoman or a Harley.

Other than the very beginning of the game, I always felt the character was very overrated the entire lifespan of the game. One of those amazing in theory types of characters.


I literally can't think of any other time we disagreed on a subject or character lol. It's only right it be super far apart haha.

Ares is known from Greek mythology, but as far as a DC character - never heard of him.

Both were poor choices to include, IMO.

Nah,if you watched justice league/young justice Ares and Frost make sense as inclusions. I would've preferred a more traditional flash villain (captain cold, gorilla grodd, captain boomerang) but killer frost is kinda generic bad guy since no one really knows/cares about firestorm.


Again, Ares wouldn't have been my first choice as a WoWo villain (please give me cheetah or Circe!!) but he is one of her major bad guys and his inclusion doesn't seem that left of field.

I have her being definitely better than:
- ares
- cyborg
- joker
- green arrow
- Harley
- hawkgirl
- grundy
- Luther
- catwoman
- nightwing
- Shazam
- scorpion

And debatably better than:
- green lantern
- lobo
- raven
- Zatanna
- black Adam

I see the Killer Frost denial still lives.

She is not in the current meta of the game top 10. Martian, Aquaman, Flash, Zod, Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Sinestro, Deathstroke, Superman, Batman and Bane are all vastly superior, this shouldn't even be a thing this late in the game's life.

Her being top 15 is also not really a thing.

Even mid tier characters like Raven, Nightwing, Doomsday, Hawkgirl, Black Adam and Lobo have more utlity than she does.

She's probably better than the following: Joker, Cyborg, Ares, Green Arrow and Scorpion.

Frost is probably on par with Grundy, Lex, Harley Quinn, Zatanna and that's about it.

Bottom 10 for sure, even if I wanted to upplay her super hard, she is inferior to at least 11 characters at a minimum.

How did she do in match ups? You can list how a bunch of tools sound and omit their weaknesses and that will make anyone sound really good, but how does she do in mus. Who does she go even with in top tier? Does she beat anyone? Who does she even beat besides outlier characters that everyone beats?
