I'm in favor of having to hold back to block, but it makes it a little tricky dealing with characters that have teleports that put them on the other side of the screen. Scorp in the first one and it looks like Supergirl has a similar teleport in this one. Can't wait to find out.Really like her design so far. Soon as I saw the CG reveal, I hoped her face/hair looked the same in-game. It pretty much does. Good voice actor too. I can already tell she's going to be the next Cassie.

I see that point as a plus. The wagers generally just offered a break and ended more often than not a draw or irrelevant once the person in the lead used their's as well. They more or less extended leads more than necessitated comebacks. For Zod it guaranteed screen advantage no matter what he spent. Imagine that Lex vs Zod matchup and then getting put back to fullscreen. Happened in every match vs Zod and even if you weren't suffering an 8-2 matchup it still put you immediately on the defensive once clash ended no matter who you were vs zoners.Some observations:
interactables and stage transitions are obviously back,
intro dialogue is unique to who you're facing just like in MKX,
no sign of clashes that I could see ,
Supers are like in Injustice 1 with the zoom and the aura on start-up,

They'll likely be a breaker system or some kind of comeback necessity oriented system in this, but I just feel that NRS is capable of something better than the Clash/Wager system they had. I look forward to seeing what they've come up with this time.

Not like I wont have a nice RPG mode that I'll be hearing these in and arcade ladders to hear them in often if folks skip them on me. Folks would've skipped clashes too if they could've. Believe me a loss of momentum was not popular with folks in fights most times. Stage transitions often came under the same scrutiny with folks wanting a "hold to skip" option.But people skip those...
Go back and watch the 2014 E3 trailer for MKX. Certain screen shots don't look as polished as they do now. It's going to look better people just need to relax.Lots of people are complaining about the graphics, like really did I watch the same trailer as everyone else?

Hype sure but how often do you get a clash at 1 second? It was a rare thing and it made it chaos over who would have the life lead at the end and be declared the winner. I wont downplay that match. It was great, but I just feel that with all the moment breakers created in MK9 and MKX that Injustice's Clash system had fewer moments than those systems.
