Two reasons

1. Jinx is a character I created for a novel I started (yet to finish) who has special powers over projectile weaponry. He's a dry, sarcastic smartass who's lack of care for social norms puts him at odds with others. The friends he does make are forever, willing to go extreme (often sacrificial) lengths to protect them, their rights, and their honor.

2. While I am not superstitious, my ability to play games ranges from mostly-ok to absolute genius who plays way way above my level. It seems random and often when it matters (like at a tournament) I always seem to play at my worst. Almost like I am Jinxed. With no escape. Forever Jinxed.

I played Armored Core 2 or so in the 90's where i built a mech, it was very chunky and i painted it fleshy red, black and bonewhite, i imagined it mashing people so i came to call it FleshMasher.

I reactivated that name for PSN and SC4 online because i tend to play FGs more flashy than successful (Style over Skill ) and i liked the masher wordplay for FGs.

While Cage is not as formidable a fighter comared to Liu Kang and Kung Lao, his shadow energy is basically kryptonite to gods like Shinnok and Raiden
