Question - Cyber Sub-Zero Ever Get That Feeling of Deja Vu? TYM hasn't learned

Tell me, do you bleed?
Are some other scrub who think Dhalsim is OP? He finally has tools in SFV and I supposed you're all on the bandwagon of painting some unfair picture. He needs the tools he has to fucntion in this game. He has all the same issues he's had before when it comes to being pressured and rushed down. You guys were perfectly fine with Sim when he was piss poor in SFIV.

Just another fun unique character people wanna bitch about. Fine by me
Nah, I'll learn the match up

"Tell me, do you bleed?...You will."
Everyone can at least agree that his recovery on ice ball is ridiculous. Imagine if sub zeros was that fast ggs

Sim was fine in SF4. He's also fine in SFV. He struggles mightily against pressure in both games.

If NRS players have found stuff that is legitimately broken within a couple of days before, it's not that surprising that they will jump to the same conclusion when the precedents tell them to.

REO for tester MK11.

Only the EX versions of moves like this should be Low. NRS did it mostly correct with the EX Trance allowing for you to bring a bat out.

It doesn't matter if you can escape these situations or not. All instances where hard-to-unlockables are taking place need to either be entirely situational (screen positioning), resource intensive (cost bar to setup) or a risk for the person doing them.

I don't understand TYM sometimes. EVERYONE want to use the best character at the same time and said character is never allowed to have severe weaknesses.

It's pathetic.

Are ya' ready for MK11 kids?!
One thing I find funny about this whole hard-to-blockable shitstorm is that a few months ago we had a thread (mainly in jest) comparing MK9 Cyrax with MKX Summoner Quan. Funny how THEN, we had people parading "yeah man, all of Quan's shit is totally blockable!"

And recently, we've had the whole "Tremor got robbed" renegade on the basis that his up rock Oki in conjunction with B3 should always be blocked overhead, low, therefore it was no big deal and never should have been nerfed etc. etc. but yet, people still wanted shit like Quan's NJP/low bat or charged B2/low bat sent to hell.

For the record, I've never used Summoner myself and as far as Tremor goes I was more antsy about up rock's armor breaking utility more so than how hard it was to block, but it seems like essentially, it's only a "hard-to-blockable" when it suits the agenda/propaganda of the person in question.

People should stop asking for nerfs. For all we know this character could turn into a bullshit character or into a bill. I would call him unfair if half the cast didn't have mix-ups, I don't think he has Quan Chi mix-ups tbh since they are not guaranteed, unlike Quan's but let the character develop, I doubt there is going to be one more patch and if this patch is the absolutely last one ya'll better start practicing how to fight him instead of crying.

So we've spent the best part of a year dealing with Quan Cheese pseudo-unblockables to finally getting some sort of level ground with him. Now they release a new character with the same sort of offence and we are supposed to be ok with that?

This type of offence should not exist. Period. Not with Quan, Cyrax, Tremor, Sonya, Cyber Sub or any other god damn character.

The whole point of defending is to block the mix ups high for OH and low for low attacks. If someone is hitting you with both within a frame of each other, I don't care how much lab time you think I need, it shouldn't be happening.

The Lin Kuei member in question that was nerfed has nothing to do with CSZ since he was nerfeddue to other reason, not that I agree that he did need a nerf. He didn't have low bombs and OH/lows hitting at the same time, it's irellevant.

CSZ is fucking stupid and he should be hit with a nerf bat right in his mincey cyber balls.
csz can't do what quan did
I guess you main him, huh? It's not blanket. It's openly clear that his tools and hit properties are dumb.
no it's not dude no it's not
While I love the character, I do think that the hard to block able setups are still stupid. Escapable or not, there should be no setups that lead in to an near unblockable into 40. As a general rule not one damn character should have it. Cyber sub needs nothing done to him except for the hard to blockable to be removed in some way, it doesn't take weeks to see that. This applies for every character too.

Also, I know its easily escapable by armour, but what about if you don't have meter, or you're a character without a viable armour attack. Basically you're getting a near guaranteed 40 percent done to you, which is straight up stupid. Just my two cents.
this is mortal kombat x. hard to blockables have always been intended to be a thing. and if you've actually labed csz you'll really that he basically gets a 50/50 which i haven't seen go into 40%

mk9 was also a dirty game, the issue here is mkx is a very clean game and anything overpowered really sticks out. everyones so hungry to have a dirty character though its crazy how reliant people are on cheap tactics
how is he dirty? you guys are being ridiculous. hard to blockables are here to stay in mkx. you wanna nerf him? nerf quan, takeda and jacqui along with him. stop using hard to blockables are a reason for nerf especially seeing as his is one of the few where he acting has to using armor to break armor

Can't really add anything that the OP hasn't mentioned....still can we just be patient and tough it out for at least two months before we begin a witch hunt?

My point is it's another hard-to-blockable.

This is why some people look down on the game as being dumb. Oh you can't break someone's defence with some footsies, spacing, pressure or standard mix ups? Let's give you the chance to do some insane set ups that completely negate a block button.

You can't teach yourself to block stuff like this. It is pure guess work. Block and hope. It's stupid and it shouldn't be a part of the meta.

I think what everyone is worried about is that NRS will go beyond the simple solution of making the bomb hit mid. So, now we have players trying to downplay this one setup because they don't want other facets of the character to get wrecked because of it.
The bomb doesn't have to hit mid, Brady already showed how easy it was to escape the setup. It's not as tight of a block as people think, and it gets destroyed by armor. People just want to shine before labbing things.
