I'm not sure how I would nerf any of the characters. Making Kang's enhanced flying kick 0 or something might be dope.

I thought the LK fbrc was addressed already? The only way they can nerf his pressure again is to cause the LK player to hold the fireball for longer than 4 frames before cancelling out. If they adjust any properties to his strings, it will severely hurt his other variations, especially dualist, which needs a buff rather than a nerf.

Predator being #1 is interesting can u provide some insight ?

I've been using him recently and feel he still has issues
More of a top 6 really, in no order....
But for real though, there are no real "Smart" Predators out there. The character is absolutely insane and the only real weakness is that his run is terrible but he has ways around that (I don't want to hear about armor because I wish Liu Kang had a 3/4 screen advancing armored launcher).

The rest of the list is pretty explanatory and I would say Liu Kang and Quan Chi are the kings of offense in game and zoning, where Liu does all the pressure and Quan Chi just shits on your face but both are some-what hampered by defensive options. D'Vorah and Predator don't have the same one sided hyper-offense as the previous two but have better footsies, have a hybrid approach to offense, and have their own unique setups and tools. Finally, Kung Lao and Cassie are on the list simply because they can do what they want at any point of time and their footsies, defense, and total moveset allow them to be much more well rounded than the previous 4. I will say that I think Cassie is probably the worst out of all of them, but I play Kano so I'm biased.

This is just how I see it, if anyone disagrees then disagree and call me an idiot please @EGP Wonder_Chef .

1. Quan Chi - Low bat to become mid. (Stop the pseudo unblockables)

2. Tanya - db4 armored overhead to become mid. (Give her less options on knockdown)

3. Tremor - MB armored launcher to not give advantage on block. (No armor should give advantage on block, especially launching ones.)

4. Kung Lao - Reduce hitbox on j2. (Nearly impossible to trip guard or low profile since the range is obscene.)

5. Predator - b22d2 to be -1 on block (Overall he's fine, but this thread said I needed to come up with a nerf.)

Liu Kang, Dragons Fire (and all run cancel characters) NO MORE TRUE BLOCKSTRINGS OUT OF RUN CANCELS. I shouldn't lose %20 in chip just because Kang got a lucky jump in, or got in for free w MB fly kick. Make them slightly negative (-1 or -2), but not punishable. It becomes a bait tool, and a way to extend pressure on opponents who aren't expecting it. No liu Kang player will agree w me, but I don't care. Guaranteed pressure isn't really pressure, its free chip damage for no apparent reason.

Tanya Kobu Jutsu
First hit of b1 becomes a high. That's all I believe she needs. Gives players options to poke out.

Summoner Quan Chi. Only one bat can be used per combo. If the combo starts with a bat, another bat cannot be summoned until the combo is over. Quan is now forced to either go for damage or mix up. No longer both.

Tempest Lao
More whiff recovery on mb and regular hat spin. Now characters can safely backdash out of his pressure without worrying about being punished. This is easily remedied by Lao because be will have his hat spinning around him and can just chase you down. Adding extra whiff recovery gives the player fighting Lao more options than they had before.

Add a pushback to Ex-Rune, but make it +15 (similar push back to Hell Sparks)

Remove invincibility frames from Nut Punch

4. Kobu Jutsu Tanya
Agree with yours (must commit to fast rekka for all, or delayed rekka)

5. Dragon's Fire Liu Kang
Similar to how Bicycle Kick goes to the other side of a blocking and crouching opponent, make MB-Flying Kick place Liu Kang on the other side of the corner if the opponent is crouch blocking.

My top in order are:

1) Lao
Option select...err I mean Orbiting hat...should be -9. Still hard to punish by most of the cast and doesn't offer free option selects without risk. And reduce jip range

2) Cassie
Reduce range on b1 AND make her d4 12 frames.

3) Tanya
Place a gap between b1 and 2+4

4) Quan
Make bat a mid

5) Shinnok
D4 to hell sparks should be armorable. Slow down recovery of projectile slightly.

I hate using a top 5 because I feel the spectrum is bigger

But I'll play your rules :D

1.Kung Lao
-Make Hatspin -5
-Reduce hit advantage of his throw by 5 frames

2.Tanya
-Make last hit of Rekka -12 like its suppose to be

3.Quan
-If possible make starting animation (as bat goes to the ground mid) then low after
-Increase scaling after fireball

4.Liu Kang
-Make flying kick -14
-Bycycle kick 0 on block
-Make D3 0 on block

5.Cassie
-Make Ex flip kick -15

I don't even think Cassie is top 5 I just can't think of a nerf for Shinnok that won't break the char

Thinking I should make a video on Liu kang nerfs, ppl don't seem to get a fair nerf and focus on something that isn't an issue. They're Gina nerf his cancels and then be like . "Oh look he can still do what he did before even though we made his f213 plus 6!". Fools :). Oh yeh!! His flying kick meter burn being plus 2 was his problem all along!
