So I can do F3, bf3, into any of those listed? Awesome, ill definitely go into practice and a bit and try to get them all down, thanks! Are they hard to do online? Thats' pretty much the only way I can play against other MKX players since I don't have a local scene and none of my friends play fighters lol
if the latency is different every time, they are hard :(. They are tricky even for offline sometimes

Yeah I am having a bit of trouble continuing the combo after the bf3 lol the timing must be really strict
if something can help is that both bf3 and d1 have better recovery than they seem, so when I drop it, next time I input d1 & b1 faster

there isn't any specific hitbox issues, I've done these on almost every character. Online though...

I think I am getting closer and closer, I have gotten it a few times just not consistently lol for some reason he is taking forever to duck for the d1 after the bf3, ill keep playing around with it and see if I can figure it out though.

My best strategy against Grandmaster is to armor up and just beat him in a damage race. Slasher does much more damage so you run through the clone get in do good damage and take the little damage sub will punish with and then when there is a decent damage gap you turtle up and throw machetes. My Slasher was free to Grandmaster until I started doing this its High-risk/stupid but it's the best I got against him. What do you guys do against clone?

I kind of turtle, because they usually sit behind the ice clone and throw ice balls which go over you if you just duck and the only time you need to block is if they throw or shatter the clone, which they are usually hesitant to do because you can kind of see the start up and start throwing machetes which people are hesitant to trade with, and that's when a lot of them get impatient and try to slide or run in, and then you get to do your thing.

That strategy sounds good though, so with killing machine on you can just run right through the clones and nothing happens? I didn't know that, ill have to give that a shot lol

Yup looks really cool too. Most subs are flabbergasted by that and I get the f42 combo because they just sit there like "wait wha happun?"

Lol yeah I definitely have to try that next time I play. When do you activate it? As soon as they put out the clone and start throwing ice balls?

I usually try to end a combo with it doing it in neutral gets me frozen the majority of the time.

I find that this is actually the best way to play Slasher against most of the cast, in general. One of Slasher's biggest strengths is his ridiculously good meterless damage. Utilizing Killing Machine more only accentuates that strength. In general, you want to play Slasher like a tank. Use your meter to armor through pressure, get in that ass, and once you get a lead, armor up with Killing Machine to get the round over with as quickly as possible. Also, machete toss fucks with people's minds.

Any optimal times to activate it? Maybe after hard knockdown? I pretty much never use it so I have no idea when a good time to use it is lol sometimes when I am getting zoned out by a Mournful or Pyromancer I try, but they always knock me out of the start up before it finishes activating lol

I do it when they're at the bottom 40ish percent of their life too risky at anything above that especially if they are also a high damage or a vortex character although to be fair I've only really tried going balls out with armor on Sub. And ya people will trade projectiles with Machete all day until they realize they have 10% and you have 50%

These are the two primary ways to activate it:

1) On hard knockdown (off of anything that makes it safe)

2) After ending combos with bf3, d2, or 111.
Awesome, I am going to start utilizing it more. I think it has a certain level of mind game behind it, lol I think a lot of people sort of panic when its activated which makes them more likely to make a mistake and eat a full combo lol

Relentless is the variation against grandmaster, I thought we all knew that. You can anti zone him with lake mist and when they get too afraid to throw ice balls, pursuit
When cornered, both ex throws will get you out of the situation

Don't make things hard on yourselves except if you want to slash grandmasters for the heck of it

Yeah Relentless would likely be a lot better against GM, but I haven't really taken the time to learn him lol I have played around with Relentless but not quite too much, though I feel like I probably should.

I don't know, his teleport is absolute dogshit. And the huge damage difference slasher has over GM is not there so armoring up is not worth it and because of slide dd3 is kind've hard to get out without meter. I'll also admit I don't think I use dd3 effectively against characters with wake ups that can reach me, I'm very hesitant to use meter on it because it may not be worth it. It is an option though unlike Unstoppable who can basically do nothing against clone, THAT matchup is almost impossible.

Any tips on getting the 111 to come out after the 2nd bf3? For some reason they tend to want to drop straight to the ground after the second bf3 before the 111 comes out.
the trick is to time the 4~bf3 early enough so the first shoulder hits at max height.... i can upload a vid later
