So, is Jax considered mid tier all of a sudden, or is there simply more work to be done?
This is the first time i got to look at the MU chart and i am curious to why there is no Dragon's Fire Liu Kang in the chart? I mean it is the better variation.

We aren't placing any characters in specific tier groups. If a character is in a certain ranking, it's because of their match ups compared to the rest of the cast.
I believe that sonic fox believes these numbers but I disagree with some of the evo camp's numbers. I could see Warlock being even but not the other two.I would love to hear his explanations on these match ups.
Well, yes, but his overall +/- would indicate that he has been considerably overrated up to this point, according to YOMI. Adding up his overall +/- compared to others would place him firmly lower mid tier.

In my experience, mainly Mournful, Warlock kinda eats shit. He's all reads against the Reads Queen...*cough* Empress *Hold that*. Not saying its just horrible for him buuuuut.
He's not the best, and there are characters that do beat him or go 5-5. But yeah, he's pretty crazy.
Erm you obviously haven't played a good dragon fire liu kang then - thus your statement. If you had you wouldn't have said that. But do enlighten me on who you think these characters that beat him are...!?
Lmao I main Dragon's fire, and I've been telling people how broken he is since June.
Jax actually struggles against flamefist for some reason. kun jin, Raiden, D'vorah, erron black and kano get destroyed by dragon fire. Kitana cant zone him because of his insta air fireballs and flying kick ex puts him right infront of here again to hold block for the rest of the match cuz when he's in he's in. Tanya maybe able to contend but again this is based on the players match up experience and the player themselves. Kung lau maybe 5/5 its debatable same with jax as all his mids are whiffed by LK d3 which +2 on B so you can pretty much mash that all game against jax.
I dunno if you've played each of those characters at the highest level because even though dragon's fire is very good when he gets to play his game(constant pressure and good zoning) but when he has to play other characters game he struggles because his defense and Footsies without RCs are pretty poor.
Lol i play xarakamaka EVERYDAY thats why im saying what im saying. Liu kang doesnt let anyone play their game even more so than kung lau. The ex bicycle or flying kick means he can get in easily and you have to respect what he does next hence forth.
I think you're supposed to look at it as if both characters are being played at the highest level possible. Looking at all tools of each character and comparing them.
Yes but i haven't really seen tanya played at the highest level yet which is why i can't really make a call on that- so its up for debate until that day comes..
