Congrats to the top 8 placers and a HUGE congrats to SonicFox. It's unreal how fucking good you are. You're like the Michael Jordan of fighting games. Enjoy your victory.

Also I believe some people said that the MK/NRS scene was going to die due to people having been pushed away, that TO's were going to drop MKX left and right and were done with our game, and that Esports enterprises would never support us.

Well the entire community and Sonic Fox's $85,000 would like to say to you:

NEVER FORGET

Oh shit I forgot to make a congrats post.

Congrats to @SonicFox5000 for once again proving he has some of the best fundamentals in the MK community(If you think otherwise, rewatch the Kitana matches). And of course winning EVO.

Congrats to @A F0xy Grampa for shutting up the UK's detractors once and for all. Also for using buzzsaw, that was hype.

Congrats to @HoneyBee for solidifying himself as the best Dvorah, and also for being one of the few players to beat SonixFox in a set(you also had some of the best conversions of the whole tournament, seriously sick).

Congrats to @YOMI MITYEAP for getting 4th and showing how good Tanya is

Congrats to @YOMI DJT for making yet another EVO top 8.

Congrats to @YOMI Zyphox for making Liu Kang's first major top 8 at one of the biggest MK tournaments ever, and finally getting all the props he rightfully deserves.

Congrats to @PND_Ketchup for also shutting up the UK's detractors, and reminding us of how scary Quan still is.

Congrats to @Milkman for being possibly the hypest part of the tournament.

Also props to EVO staff and Mr. Wizard, other than a few minor things EVO delivered once again.

Punching bag that throws fans !
I believe his point is, people that play online for the most part cannot be simply underestimated, sure, online changes things, but there are many talented online warriors out there, that will have a legit performance off-line as well.
Main pb is not that online players aren't talented.

It's the fact that you can't practice efficiently on MKX by playing online, since that game is a shame, like all NRS games before that one, as soon as you hit online.

Unless you wanna learn how to NOT punish things and practice "online combos" that take latency as a gift from the gods.

Worst fighting game online, by 2015 standards. Period.

But hey ... one Tremor crappy vid and people "GET HYPE" ... depressing how easy it is to forget that NRS just shits all over us for like 3-4 games in a row now, and most likely plan on doing so for a long time.

It's on us though. Myself included. But now it has ended.

Next NRS game will be purchased AFTER online tests have been made ... if it's "NRS crap series is proud to present another crappy product feat. MC Laggy-Doggy Stutter" ... no way in hell they'll have my money this time.

Or "maybe" during Steam sales or PSN sales ... when it's as cheap as Erron Black's tick throw setups.

Congratulations everyone, what an amazing showing! That 180K+ first year twitch viewercount doesn't lie.
Enjoyed watching all of these Top 8 matches. Most painful match for me to watch was @PND_Ketchup Quan Chi against @HoneyBee's D'Vorah. Really thought Ketchup would go for a swap on that MU. Respect for that Character loyalty though.
