I don't think so. Unless they get rid off HVS.I thought I can run this at 1080p at Ultra with no fuss based on "recommended" system requirements, but hell no I can't. Is there still hope in this PC port?!

I honestly wonder. I've seen people blame High Voltage for a lot of things with this port, and not all of them have actually been their fault.I don't think so. Unless they get rid off HVS.
You're right, for example the "walk away" animations on the PC version are inconsistent but it was saw first in the PS4 version to cite an obvious one. There are more bugs or glitches that come from NRS themselves that are ported directly by HVS, but there are also optimization issues that you don't see in PS4 or Xbox1 and that is HVS responsibility.I honestly wonder. I'm confident the PC version is a port of the Xbox One version, and it's not native 1080p. I figure that might have something to do with it. I could be wrong though.
Regardless, after only a few days, I put the game at 1600x900, and it improved things so much. Resolution isn't everything.
Agreed. Things like the walk away animations and even the net code is actually from the NetherRealm end. Specific PC optimization is HVS'.You're right, for example the "walk away" animations on the PC version are inconsistent but it was saw first in the PS4 version to cite an obvious one. well, I gave up and ran the game at 900p. Plays as smooth as butter. It's weird that even at Medium settings it looks a tad bit better than the console counterparts. And when you're memorizing to nail that combo, you won't give a shit about resolution.I honestly wonder. thisgame is very cpu hungry, graphics dont matter
Sorry to read this man, and yeah, if you ever think of an option to pursue for a refund, I'd go for it.FYI I knocked everything down to the worst possible in-game options (haven't looked at any ini hacks) at 720p and it still ran like crap on my PC which easily met the minimum specs.
Today I was actually going to try and request a refund through Steam considering I haven't been able to play the game properly since launch (the 2 hours / 2 weeks thing isn't a set limit). And then I remembered that I didn't actually buy it via Steam itself so I'm completely SOL.
I just feel lucky that I didn't end up dropping money on the Hori FC4 I've been eyeing up for a while.
Yeah. Typically, PC does look better than consoles simply because the hardware is usually better. Typically, not always, and I'm not trying to start any PC Master race stuff as I don't buy into that.well, I gave up and ran the game at 900p. Plays as smooth as butter. I've just been in Training for the last hour and fifteen minutes. It works .Game crashing for me too when I went to training mode. About 15-20 min in.
Trying Juxtapose's method on page 73

-Character walk away animations will now display correctly.
-Reverted font change that caused “Exit” text in online rooms to be cut off.
Additional balance fixes in parity with this update: http://community.wbgames.com/t5/Latest-Updates/Patch-Notes-7-2-15-PS4-SCEA-Xbox-One-SCEE-coming-soon/ba-p/591355
Nice. Points 1, 3, and 4 I sent to them in Bug Reports . Not sure if that did anything, of course.A NEW PATCH. TANYA IS NOW NERFED:

I think it does. The couple of patches they skipped before couldn't have been on purpose. I think the reports we all sent made them notice it.Nice. Points 1, 3, and 4 I sent to them in Bug Reports . Not sure if that did anything, of course.
Well, going forward, I plan to file more bug reports based on stuff I find. Politely of course.I think it does. The couple of patches they skipped before couldn't have been on purpose. I think the reports we all sent made them notice it.
I've found it to be very mixed, just like any other NRS game. How's the netcode? PSN and Steam play is night and day.
It's just that playing the same person yields different results based off which platform I'm playing on.I've found it to be very mixed, just like any other NRS game.
If I'm playing friends, who live in the same general city, it's very good (not offline, but good).
Others, less good.
Some others, really less good.
I've said this many times before, and I'll say it again, if NRS makes the game, I expect it's online to be poor as a standard. If it turns out it's not, I'm pleasantly surprised.
