I mean, a good Jackie would bait the hell out of you throwing out YOLO-SUPERMAN 1,000 times. Whether or not it worked for you, it was still a bad decision you made many times.

I was just exposing this trash to the world and I don't like people that think they're so good cause all they do is beat noobs.

They should just fix the hitbox of the last hit of the machine gun, to make it easier to jump in if you get the read. She's annoying but fine otherwise.

You're right, they should fix machine gun. It needs less recovery so that it can't be punished from FULL SCREEN by several characters.

You're wrong because her zoning is seriously underpowered. For all the bitching and complaining about her, she has yet to place anywhere significant because the fact of the matter is, her zoning isn't hard to get around. Calling for nerfs on it is absolutely ridiculous.

I never called for nerfs, but fixes. it's not the same thing. if I read the gunshot coming, my ji should be safe.

Even if MKX had Skynet quality 0ms "feels-like-offline" netcode, online records would still be pointless thanks to the puller mentality. Any clownshoe fuck wit with a modicum of patience can top the leaderboard.

Should also be noted that this guy isn't a rage quitter. He's quitting to avoid loses in order to maintain a fraudulent record. That's not rage ... that's cold, premeditated asshattery.

No, if you read the gunshot coming you should duck, or, time your jump better.

The move was designed specifically to catch poorly timed jumps, and it doesn't even do that all that well.

I'm talking about when you are getting near jaqui, you can't punish by ducking at that point, right? and isn't the air rocket supposed to punish incoming jumps?

rocket is spacing dependant and has holes .. jacqui is anything but broken shes probably one of the more "honest characters in a dishonest game"

u have crouch and run to punish guns when u move in close enough (DUH).. the machine gun is fine

I'm not trying to stir the pot here, but How is Jacqui more honest than any other character with 50/50s? I mean both her Low and OH are safe on block (except against Cassie who can reversal the low for a punish)

Maybe I'm not sure what people mean by ''honest'' characters, which is a term that I had never really seen used as much since MKX came out.

As for Jacqui's guns @SaSSolino it takes awhile to get use to them, at first they seem ridiculous, but it's all about how you learn to deal with them. I don't think they need to be changed in any way.

Couple things that might help deal with Jacqui's zoning:

- most characters can duck and get a dash in (and return to neutral duck before the next gun comes out)
- The MB part of the guns is -14 or -15
- getting hit by the MB is annoying, but not that bad of a trade, i spend meter you get hit for like... 6% (im not sure how much dmg it is)
- don't try and jump it unless you have an air stagger or teleport
- from jump distance if you duck a gun and Jacqui tries to MB you can jump in for full combo.

my point still stands, why should a ji on a non-antiair attack hit me? remember the keyword: "fix", not "nerf".

Unfortunately your ''point'' is kind of mute. For some reason you've decided in your own mind that this move is a non-antiair attack, I've seen it a lot recently on TYM where people decide that a move is supposed to or not supposed to do something for whatever reason. The fact is that guns are active for a long time (over 200 frames if the frame data is right) and they hit a lot of jumps especially when they aren't timed perfectly. What you're asking for is a ''fix'' based on your opinion that a move shouldn't hit a jump in. Last time I checked no where on the move list did it say ''gun's shouldn't anti air''.

I guess another way to put it would be like saying, because you think Jacqui's Up rocket is designed to Anti air, it shouldn't be used for pressure (It's +11 on block) or for combo extension. That's just not how it works. And hopefully, for your development as a player, you can get past the mental block, and explore other solutions on how to deal with Jacqui's guns.

No one has placed with her because no one is playing her in tourney. Dab basically dropped her for Cassie. who else has gone to tourney and played her? Revolver played her at ECT, but I can't think of many other tournies I've even seen her played. I think calling her zoning ''seriously underpowered'' is a bit over the top.

But it is. She's a zoning character that can't effectively zone half the cast. That makes her underpowered.
