When I first saw you pick Shinnok my exact thoughts were, "Is he trying to lose?" Then you started playing and you're actually pretty damn legit. Those games were definitely a lot closer than whats 3-0 suggests.

I know right. If the connection was legit, I would stand a chance to beat him. Everyone was hope for me to win but I could not get the job done because the netcode sucks balls.

Just watching several of Sonix Fox's other matches he nearly always has one common theme: He places this opponent into the corner and KEEPS them there. Very similar to his gameplay as Batgirl, he'd play around with the neutral until he could push them into the corner and just wreck with 50/50 after 50/50.

Exactly as 16 bit said, slow down the neutral game and focus heavily on the spacing. Watch his matches at BG against StarCharger's CW

Star charger controls the spacing incredibly well and SonicFox gets impatient.

The other key element that people look over is METER MANAGEMENT. Hold onto meter only for armor and breaker. Unless punishing of course.

I feel your pain main, especially with my college connection, I'm lucky to get a yellow connection. My friends and I were so hype when you took a game of SonicFox, with SHINNOK nonetheless.

Slow down the pace of the match and regulate the space he likes to work in. Figure out the most efficient ways to do that, e.g. find an option that cover both advancing normals and run. Make him feel uncomfortable in the neutral and he will take unnecessary risks. Very few have the ability to do that and that's why he's so strong.

Of course, every player has their own tendencies and once they are figured out this will force the player to slow down and think a bit more. Btw I always read your name as Saint Op Semen, no reason why.
