Have you tried getting out of the range and zoning her a bit ?

Hahahahaha that's a guy on Twitch called trollout, he streams all the time and just does gun. He's an obvious troll though, when we called him out on not being able to win without Full Auto he went Warlock Quan and kept doing D3s which his opponent wouldn't block and he won by a pixel. He then said "that's how you counter Jacqui" and "See, I don't just need guns to win". So yeah, huge troll. But since you're on TYM you should know how to get around the gun anyway...

It's not even the machinegun tbh, up-rockets are what got me to stick with Full-Auto, it's frustrating not having an anti-air in SG, HighTech has df2 which works but it varies depending on what jump-in they use plus it's more of an anticipation anti-air, but it's better than nothing..

I've been mostly high tech now because df2 run cancel gets you actual pressure and a safe move to throw out which is mid, plus you can get crazy damage with the gauntlet buffs.

Not even sure Uprockets is really that great of an anti-air tbh. It's not something you can just bust out. Like everything you have with her, it's pre-emptive.

I like HT regardless of how much salt I can pour down people's ears when I lose with it. It's been explored a bit and it's as you said. Run cancels allow you pressure, not-RCing doesn't give you any disadvantages (you're + or at the very least safe on block if they block df2). The problem with HT is that you have to get in, and unlike FA you have no real way of forcing them in via projectile.

I love Up-Rocket, and it's so crazy safe that you don't really have to be preemptive as much as just fire them off on occasion to keep your opponent in check; if they hit, you get a free 31% meterless conversion for almost no effort. Not to mention the block-string shenanigans.

Up-Rocket makes up for Shotgun and High-tech having no anti air at all.

Anyone doing something with b1, 3 string? It's a regular 5% that goes Mid-Low and is cancelable.

I tried just getting a regular bf2 upper combo after it and unlike the other strings I can't seem to get the 1,2 xx bf4 after.

I was watching this set and saw something totally weird, check it out people at 17:30. Maybe it will give you an idea for a new tech or setup or just something wonky to pull off I don't know - I don't play Jacqui.

In my humble opinion, it's a wonky thing that happens and I don't think we'll see any set-ups based off of this. In addition - it's definitely going to be matchup dependent.

The game thinks that you successfully crossed up, but you haven't. I've seen it happen before but it's heavily spacing dependent and IIRC it's not every move that autocorrects that way. Plus, Forces Rush takes forever to recover that you could probably punish it even after the ice ball.

Yeah I understand how it happens and I expect it would be very risky to whiff that move on purpose.

But I just wanted to share it because it was weird lol.

At best it'd be training scramble nerves in general so you can profit from it IF it happens, but not necessarily practice any setups that cause it. Like from there go into full punish combo.

Was about to type 33 QBRC 33 bf2 run 12 bf4 for max damage punish but I'm one of the dumbasses that play High Tech so.

Has anyone else noticed Up Missile whiffing a lot more than usual? I used to be able to chain f12~db2 indefinitely; now it seems like it whiffs about every other time, as well as at odd times throughout a match. Used to be 100% consistent; now it's more like 50%...

@karaokelove - i just checked out your stream archives and you have a nice Jacqui. Do you only play FULL AUTO and can you breakdown High Tech or shotgun on stream like you did on Youtube? THX

For me works 100% consistent. PC version.

gonna test this out but I might hop off the Jacqui bandwagon for a time.

mkxi gimme goro/jacqui kid with 4 arms and gauntlets and i've got my main.
