oh god please tell me it doesnt get worse! Is it just me, or has the glitch seem to have gotten worse post-patch? Or perhaps I'm just playing too quickly now? None the less, I'm tired of it.
I've picked up Kabal post-patch. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think he has the game's highest APM and I have not gotten the bug yet, online or off.Is it just me, or has the glitch seem to have gotten worse post-patch? Or perhaps I'm just playing too quickly now? None the less, I'm tired of it.
Got a link?Tom Brady made a video months ago. It happens to me all the time...

That looks to me like failing to take into account the frame or two it takes to duck. Every time he did it unsuccessfully he was pressing them at exactly the same time. I don't see a bug.i think is this one.
its worth nothing, that i tried my best to recreate this bug, but the 30 minutes, and thats 30 long boring minutes trying, it wasnt happening lol, at least with smoke it didnt happen.
I could be wrong, but I believe in other MK games pressing both at the same time consistently worked, which could explain why so many people are expecting the same here. Like in MK2 I think you could instant uppercut (the AI certainly does it lol). That looks to me like failing to take into account the frame or two it takes to duck. Maybe this MK is an exception then. I've always treated uppercuts as a normal that you perform while crouching, not as a normal with the input d+2. Maybe that's why the so-called input bug never seems to happen to me.I could be wrong, but I believe in other MK games pressing both at the same time consistently worked, which could explain why so many people are expecting the same here. try also kabal's 2,1 against enyone else's crouch block (beside reptile)I was using Kabal when this was happening. If anyone could recreate Sub-Zero's ice blast hitting Kabal while he is crouching (at a specific frame) it would put this issue to rest.
I'm sure it is not a bug. Hitting a button while your character is in going-into-crouch animation makes it seem as if input is dropped. They made instant uppercut possible but it requires somewhat stricter input.Maybe this MK is an exception then. I NEVER want to use Kitana's standing 1. I literally have no use for it. Now watch match vids and see how often I do it. This glitch is real and a big problem.
i do lolIve posted this a few times before, but try going into practice mode. Press up as fast as you can. If done correctly, the input will appear on screen and you will not jump. try doing d1 while pressing down as fast as possible. the down will show on the input, but if done fast enough, you will get a standing 1.
Again, if done correctly, you can replicate this 100% of the time. I don't know if this has anything to do with the input bug, but something to consider as it may well be.
Try rolling up a dollar bill, break out your credit card and a cd case, chop some shit up, introduce your nostrils to some A1 Yola, THEN try it you need to tap that shit super quick like a hummingbird in coitus.i do lol
i press down 1st and then 1, and i do it really fast, still nothing
LOL xDTry rolling up a dollar bill, break out your credit card and a cd case, chop some shit up, introduce your nostrils to some A1 Yola, THEN try it you need to tap that shit super quick like a hummingbird in coitus.
Before you throw a chair, consider this; Your character does a move and returns to a neutral state. You're holding down this entire time. As soon as you return to neutral, you press 2 for an uppercut, except your character hasn't had time to duck yet. There you go, standing 2.no no NO!!!
anyone defending this has failed to address 1 BIG point. all of this "maybe you cant" "possible when you.." NO!! fact is you can be HOLDING DOWN then press 1 and get a stand jab. this kills any theory of maybe if you are moving, or maybe if you try the attack while entering crouch frames, etc. you can just be holding down and press any button and get a stand attack as if you were never holding down and already in crouch to start.
Again that's an unrelated issue due to some hitbox height inconsistencies. If it was the input bug you'd see characters just popping into standing then going back to crouch randomly, and I haven't heard a single report of that.hell... the easiest way is to just have someone duck and have sub throw ice balls. Eventually you'll get a frozen ducking opponent.
