I think SonicFox will be the best player over the course of the game (just a prediction) and his Injustice career needs no validation, but at the same time, this was an 8 man exhibition after 2 days of play. Settle down. He didn't win EVO...yet.

As of the last 2 years maybe even more @SonicFox5000 has been the face of NRS games. Very few people have beaten him and it looks like its going to continue into MKX.

He likes characters with 50/50s but that is not the reason why he is winning. He makes the better reads and opens his opponents up.

Please give credit to where credit is due.

If what he did were so easy, how come the "real pros" don't win doing exactly the same thing? No other argument needs to be presented.

Looking forward to watch him play against REO and Tom Brady.

Erron Black is so much fun. The way he works is by getting a knockdown, if you have NO meter, you have to hold a 50/50. No meter means no wakeups
Also dont worry about defebding me guys. Theres a reason why those who think they know everything about me stay behind there computer rather actually do sonething about it. Erron Black is a good but according to Tom and others, like 10 other characters 50/50s are better lol. Errons 50/50 leaves him minus and many characters can backdash or armor. They just all guessed wrong ;p
Erron isnt batgirl, batgirl gets 50/50s anywhere. Erron is more catwoman normals with a command throw lol

Nice post but we will have to wait to see if Erron is not top tier. You could be hiding more tech.

I really don't get anti-Sonic Fox sentiment at all. He's obviously a phenom. Not just top in Injustice, MK9, and now MKX, but he and his brother are two of the very top DOA players. When they compete it is generally between the two of them for 1st and 2nd place, and they'll play what are regarded as mid-tier characters up until the finals, switching to top tier usually against each other. Then there's Skullgirls and other games. He's like a Justin Wong or Chris G that goes to a fighting game tournament and enters 5 games and does really well (often #1) in all of them. Plus, when I was 17 I would've been a lot less classy about winning so much. Some of you might call it being a fanboy to recognize talent. I don't think it was being a fan boy to recognize Shaun White at snowboarding, Michael Jordan at basketball, Michael Phelps at swimming, Magnus Carlsen at chess, or Usain Bolt at running.

Looked at the comments this morning, my god the hate was too strong lol. I don't think I'll ever understand the level of hatership some guys have but it's their opinion to do so. For me personally if your mad at someone winning with a character, get better and beat them, from what Ive read his 50/50 mix ups aren't even that good compared to others so why be mad? It's one tourney lets see how the whole years go.

Side node, good shit sonic fox, another side note, god damn scorpion looks tasty as fuck and I main Johnny I hope NRS don't nerf him cause people are slashing their wrist his damage is too strong, I'd like to see him as a playable character in this game for tourneys please. Yeah, no doubt. SonicFOx's brother goes by MrKwiggle and you can find matches with them in DOA all over youtube, particularly in Finals and GrandFinals. IDK if MrKwiggle competes outside of DOA.

Ironically, people in the DOA community say a lot of the same things, about both of them, that are often said here: they don't really play in the "normal" way that you are "supposed" to play the game, relying on outstanding execution, great reads, surprise unsafe moves, etc. The difference is that I haven't really seen people in the DOA community say it in a salty way.
