I have been able to level up my Kenshi to the 2nd level.

I think you can level them up to 7, the max (from the mobile combat last).

Also, do the 3rd daily challenge.

Its no so hard with at least 1 gold character and a couple of silvers maxed out.

Sure, you have to pick at least 2 Silver Card (preferably around the 60-75K amount, I have Kenshi), and at least 1 Gold character.

Level them up as high as you can.

Currently all my silver's and gold cards are at level 23~.

You want their damage around 4K+, and their health around 5K+.

Makes the matches more winnable.

And pretty much from there you just wanna spend all your coins to max out all 3 levels of specials.

That's where I'm at (so far).

I have it on my iPod touch. It doesn't run very well unfortunately, but it's still playable. Drains the shit out of my battery though...

Its great fun, and for free? i don't see why anyone would complain at all. It's a nice filler before the game comes out and frankly i'll be playing it when the game is out, just on the basis that i don't have my console with 100% of the time. It adds a nice layer and the microtransactions, whilst are steeply priced are definitely targeted for the impatient and those that just want to unlock stuff on console. I am happy to wait. thats my /2p

p.s. i feel sorry for android users, didn't this happen with injustice aswell?

Injustice was iOs only. Talk about annoying....

Any IP that's released to the public is fair game for public scrutiny. The model for monetizing that IP is irrelevant.

you get it with the card thing next to buy random silver characters! you get random equipment or level up moves etc.

I'm still debating spending the Souls (since you have to beat entire towers to get them) in order to earn more Koins, vs. never spending any souls to recharge and grabbing a Gold character with the souls faster.

Leaning towards the Hold for Gold strategy-

Not a glitch, I can confirm you can indeed get gold cards from kard packs.
