I think having old mains to fall to may play a huge role in this. Although I would love for Ryan Hart to do well and spread the MK gospel to Capcom players, I think he may have trouble adjusting to block button, run, and how stage position will play a role as compared to street fighter. Unless he can find a shoto with a great fireball lol.

People laughing at Ryan Hart are crazy, he's one of the smartest Fighting Game players to play, not just Capcom, he's a better player than any of you will ever be that is laughing. There was an interview where he described his thought process, the guy treats his FGs like a job.

I am proud of NRS, you know, everytime NRS stays quiet and other FG companies are doing big things NRS comes and does it even bigger and this is FACT.

I'm also happy they used the community incentive to crowd fund the pot for ESL. Like how League did to fund it's Nationals.

They had better early games for Injustice than almost anybody.

I think anyone playing their old main may end up screwing themselves over as they fall back on MK9 tactics that simply don't work anymore. Muscle memory tells you "I'm playing X so I should do this" when "this" may not work in this game.

No offense to Ryan Hart, but why is he here? I mean it's cool and all, but did he play MK9? Did he dabble in Injustice? Is he playing anything other than SF4 right now?

He plays (or played) VF5FS, so he is used to the block button at least . But lbsh, he is a great player, he will be a tough one to beat.

Why are people putting Ryan Hart in top 3 he doesn't even belong at this event lol, his EVO performance from back in MK9 can a test to that. Maybe they should've thought about inviting Pig, Reo, or CDJr. Anyways, it'll probably be a toss up between Perfect Legend, Sonic Fox, and Tyrant/MiT.
