Yeah I thought Netherrealm as well, to have Earthrealm (or at least the Special Forces) start a war with Outworld and weaken them both, something along those lines. Not sure what they would gain through that though, but we'll see.

Well it would make a bit of sense. As I said before in one of those posts, we only know of two portal stones so far in the continuity...
The one Kotal Khan has as his people's treasure and rite of passage, and the one Quan Chi uses in MK: D to escape from the netherrealm...
So it would make sense for them to go into one.

A few days in a windy desert kinda makes for a lack of tracks. Even a few hours. Add also that the Osh-Tekk have no reason not to kill Sonya on sight, and also have no reason to inform her of anything. Her finding the battle is nothing short of having someone else who is able to bring her there. That means its likely that her hooded friends have someone amongst them with a decent knowledge of the area, so it could possibly be raiden tagging along (sans hat, glowing eyes, electricity, and so on) or perhaps someone else.

This battle is also apparently quite a distance away from the homelands, so its not like she could just look over from the Osh-Tekk camp and be like "there it is". She has to have some kind of information to go off of...

I mean especially if you consider that before his father died, Erron black was at his speech...
So Sonya wouldn't even have a reason to go to the other realm until the first battle was over, which was only days (being generous) before Kotal's solo journey. This was a trip done mostly in secret as well, with only his most trusted and powerful subjects (and reptile) coming along, so I can't imagine its common news.

I'm betting the hooded guys are jax and Johnny. Jacqui also got abducted

That's what I just said a couple hours ago.

Someone else was giving me shit cause I noticed Goro's eyes were read in the first clip we got, saying that he has always had red eyes. He neither had red eyes in MK9 nor in the MKX comics though... pretty sure it has something to do with the blood magic. Interested to see how he got it though, and who helped him.

I don't know why people are pissed at Sonya online. It really seems like misplaced anger and Kotal fanboyism b3cause so far he's the main comic character.

I mean maybe this is the papa bear in me coming out but if some dude from a different world kidnapped my daughter and god daughter....

I'm going FULL Liam Nelson on their ass and everyone who could have known about it.

Error Black serves Kotal so it's a natural conclusion that he kidnapped the kids on his orders. Her harsh reaction makes even more sense when you remember how much she lost to the last emperor of Outworld. It's gotta suck feeling helpless as you watch all your friends die.

Does anyone else think that the blood magic that Kotal uses might have a connection to what happened with Fox? Or with the blood magic that Raiden used to see the future?

No. As I said before, I'm a big fan of badass women (no one fucks with Mama!) but I do not like characters who are complete pricks out of the blue. Especially if they're supposed to be the "good" guy.

She's been a dick to Kotal Khan since the first time we saw her (and, as of what we've been given, it was completely unwarranted attitude). So that coupled with that cowardly back shot means she can go fuck right off.

Doubtful, he would have no reason to chase Cassie around if that were the case, at least not with guns drawn.
Likewise Sonya wouldn't have to ask where her daughter was. At least she wouldn't have to go to Kotal. If Erron was with them, then she wouldn't take that extra unnecessary step unless she views Erron as one of Kotal's lapdogs.
I'm thinking Netherrealm.

Right...black dragon chased them the portal opened he was on the other side...so he was the last picture...Guns could have been pointed at them or past them to make sure the black dragon didn't go through the portal...It's all possible at this point...do I think that's what happened ...eh I give it maybe a 20% chance...

Maybe, who knows. I think there's quite a big secret behind Torr's identity yet to be revealed.

Shokans normally have naturally red eyes.

They just screwed up in MK9 and other games because NRS isnt really good when its about consistency.
Also in the comic different art styles are used and are very loose. Mileena for example has in one issue cat eyes and in another normal eyes.
Its just typical NRS inconsistency.

There is no need for Blood Magik.
Most likely they just remembered "Ooops Goro is supposed to have red eyes"

Yes I know, but I really doubt that, like I said in MK9 and in these comics he doesn't have red eyes, gets all of his 4 arms ripped off and then all of a sudden has red glowing eyes. At this point I want to believe NRS did that intentionally.

Don't forget that Kotal says, "You agreed our realms would work together after the Netherrealm war." It's also mentioned that it was Kotal who decided to assist Earthrealm in the battle against Shinnok and that's why he split from Mileena's ranks.

Kotal Kahn has been an ally and supporter of Earthrealm in the past, then he shows up personally announcing a large Outworld threat and diplomatically proposing an alliance in order to protect not only his realm, but Earthrealm as well. And what does he get for all his trouble and his showcase of humility? Locked up in chains (though it doesn't bother him too much) and a slap to the face from Sonya before she walks out. All she said was she didn't care about his world's problems and turned her back on him.

Not only that, Raiden comes in right after having a vision of future disaster and does the exact same thing despite Kotal being there with grave news about an Outworld thread. Raiden is a dumbass and a liar, and Sonya was being a straight-up dick to Kotal. Whatever disaster leaks over from Outworld to Earthrealm, Earthrealm definitely deserves it after this.

I'm still kinda baffled over what happened with Cassie. Lemme get this straight:
- They were being chased by members of the Black Dragon
- Cassie admitted that they couldn't outrun them so she tried to leave a trail with a photo, but instead got a picture of Erron Black's face, meaning EB was behind them
- Erron Black used Kotal's portal stone to get them out of there? Perhaps he temporarily replaced Kotal's with a fake Quan Chi-style.

So Erron Black either kidnapped Cassie & is holding her captive (and Jacqui, but LBSH nobody cares about her) or saved Cassie by teleporting her somewhere else, and now she's doing her own thing.

I just wanna know what happened to bae ;_;

Okay so... here's my theory. WHAT IF, Erron Black is actually Johnny in disguise? When Sonya saw the photo on the phone she said "son of a bitch" or something like that, then we see lots of missed calls from Johnny. What if Johnny wanted to warn her about something? Also it would make sense for Erron to teleport them somewhere safe then. I dunno, maybe I'm crazy, but I have this weird feeling...

She says "what the..." if i remember correctly. But yeah, Sonya is born in Texas and her father is dead doing an infiltration with another ID. Johny is an actor and it's weird we haven't seen him yet.

That doesn't solve the problem. Hood or not, The Osh-Tekk don't seem like the kind of people who would just tell any random person where their master is in the middle of a big battle.

Wait, do you think Outworld is comprised entirely of the Osh-Tekk? You do know Kotal is the Kahn of the entirety of Outworld right? That's multiple races of people with different opinions and agendas. Why would you assume Sonya would go out of her way to find the Osh-Tekk specifically when she could literally just ask Joe Schmoe on the street and get her answer.

Did you just read what i said? They screwed up in MK9. If they wanna retcon his eye color than they should just be consistent and not change it every game.
Sometimes he has red eyes, sometimes not. Decide NRS!
