Hate bringing up this topic again, but I gotta keep the truth free from all the slander, lol.
First, the only time you've played my batman was in the mirror at SCR. Other then that, it was your MMH against my AM. Any talk of playing my BM vs your sinestro is you pulling stuff from out of nowhere or dreaming of playing me in the MU (please be dreaming of me in your sleep). I wouldn't mind taking you up on that mm offer though!

Secondly, I'm sure you must be thanking the heavens for the fact that all the past BM mirrors vs Slayer haven't been recorded, because I know he's bested you in mirror for quite some time now. ;) But hey, no proof, so saying you've never lost the mirror is a statement that should rest well on your conscious :rolleyes:

Lastly, I think BM/Sinestro is a 5-5 MU. It's hard having an honest conversation about it though when team sinestro can't even acknowledge that their trait is helpful in the MU and gets a 50/50 opportunity off a majority of oki scenarios against BM.

Also, I acknowledge that Sinestro has the oki game going for him in the matchup which is why it is not a catastrophic MU. But you have to acknowledge that Batman being able to punish all of Sinestro's footsie tools with bats, and the fact that bats and batarangs outzone and outfootsie Sinestro. Sinestro being able to take advantage of him on knockdown is not a good enough reason to instantly make the MU 5-5. The neutral game is more important.

Hey this is the most I've ever heard you discuss the MU with me in this manner before, I likey :D

Regarding the neutral, I agree on its importance in this MU %100; I just don't buy the notion that it makes you unable to move AT ALL, as you and pnut have told me before. I mean, sure it out ranges your normals- it's a fucking projectile. You might as well say that BM out-footsies MMH if you're a man of consistency. If you want to make a case for BM's trait serving as a tool for making BM this impenetrable wall of defense and offense, then I can make an even BIGGER case for your trait being able to do the same, but more effectively.

BM's trait is a projectile that doesn't track as well your trait, doesn't provide any block advantage like your trait does, and isn't as fast as your trait is. Just comparing the two right now makes me feel so sad for my poor BM :( God, I'd do anything to be able to sit back and duck under one of your trait shots and d2 your jump in approach...or even have a farther-reaching, 7f d1 to stop a (non-block advantage) trait approach followed by a 9f low (because, why use a 6f standing 1 for pressure when you can just duck it without fear of being hit by an un-fuzzy-able overhead normal/string?) that has just as much range as my d1...I'D DO ANYTHING :mad:

To address the point of BM punishing a lot (not all) of Sinestro's footsie options, you're %100 again. But, you and I both know that guys such as yourself and pnut are smart enough to know not to just throw out b12's wildly, or jump at me at a range where I can AA with trait, or even shoot those damn piss balls at a range where I can duck and whiff punish with trait...

...and LOLZY at the thought of batarangs (with all their 20f startup glory) being able to outzone those aforementioned piss balls (with all their 9f startup glory) and j1 approaches (which you do all the time to avoid my batarangs).

Other then that...yea, batman does do pretty much whatever he wants.

Why doesn't Sinestro's trait prevent Batman from doing whatever he wants? Including jumping. Speaking of which, Sinestro's D2 is pretty handy too. Bats punish B12 and it's obviously a big deal. Batman's ability to duck fear blast from about 3/4 of the screen allows him to get in and get his pressure started easier. But A) I don't think he outzones Sinestro. Actually, he definitely doesn't, and B) bats punishing B12 doesn't mean "he can do whatever he wants." I think you're overstating the match-up. You're acting like the moment the Batman player presses 4, you're supposed to stand there and do nothing like Zod just activated his trait.
