Why the fuck would they wanna bring Jade back? Of all the people you could (but probably shouldn't) bring back, you'd want Jade? She's dead and pretty much useless in terms of story. It would be a wast of a slot.

Sindel on the other hand wouldn't be that much better, but at least she has some significance to the story. But even then it wouldn't make sense because she was offed by Nightwolf.

I'm still adamant with the belief that Shang Tsung and Liu Kang are the only characters viable enough for resurrection.

And yes, I'm still pissed that Sub-Zero for some reason is still alive. Although, this new Sub-Zero seems to be just that. New.

It was not useless. It's a great counter tool. Indeed you receive 1.5x damage, but the reward is high. Full punish jump-in attacks, wake ups, and fast specials. Escape/ punish pressures and mix-ups. Heavy corner game. Finally, if you use it in the beginning of the 1st round and have good reads, you'll probably get the first hit meter bonus.

I want them to use characters with less story and personality from previous games.

So that they can finally fucking give them some, so that everyone is at least somewhat cool and we don't have any absolute duds.


Put Jade in and give her some relevance and a goal and a clear personality with her own set of ethics and morals.


Fix things, don't remove them.

Ex Glow was easily one of the best moves in all of MK9 when used correctly. Interrupting strings, oki pressure, momentum changer. It was fabulous.

Someone asked last month on Ed's twitter if that character from Jade's ending could be in MkX, he replied that it'd be unlikely.

He usually says maybe or beats around the bush with his answers. When he straight up says things aren't likely, I don't think they have a chance.

I'd actually be happy if it turned out Freddy Mercury referred to someone new who used Mercury even though Freddy Kreuger was a good character. Liquid metal ninja sounds pretty dope as a concept.

Seriously now, I don't think the hint is about Jade. The clue is too obvious.

Also, revealing any of the dead characters will make lots of noise... They will strategically use this PR tool. I think it's too early for that.
Unless it's the spirit woman from her ending, where Boon will probably mention that in her trailer. He denied her presence though, as @Circus said.

I completely disagree with that. For example, take the mk9 roster. I didn't find every single character interesting or cool, I had no interest in Sindel, Nightwolf, Sheva or Stryker, but I wouldn't have said the same thing about them because I could still see things in them that others might like and find interesting about them. I couldn't say the same for Jade. She is one the only character that I feel adds absolutely nothing to the game.

But thanks for all the other reasons, can see now why some people do think she is cool.

Nightwolf's death/sacrifice was one of the most memorable scene in MK9. That being said I think he should stay dead atleast for MKX, and so should Sindel (tho I would miss that Sindelicious ass)
