I couldve swore I responded. If not then heres why:
Bg can zone NW/ jump in on him for free. NW wakes in both stances can be stuffed by JI2. When you are in escrima i can play you in the neutral game. Staff stance I can just block and wait for you to waste meter/ do something unsafe. You eventually have to or I will be outta your face from your stance. Most players dont wanna block NW lol. His mixups are all reactable and his knockdown game doesnt mean much to BG. He is only effective against BG when he has her in the corner. But if not, i have better tools. NW is a bill lol

We need to just play and grind it out. NW does not need to be in staff to handle BG. Being in staff is pretty much asking myself do I want to lose because BG can zone staff. In escrima I can bait out anything BG does meaning I can read the bola on start up, jump and hit you with a wingding in which u must block or take the risk of getting hit. If u attempt the bola cancels (which are also easy to read), I can close space by doing a stance canel into flying grayson. That would risk putting me into BG pressure but her pressure is a bill while im in staff lol. Its alot more to explain about the mu as to why its even. BG has a great comeback factor but the risks she would HAVE to take would get her killed.

Not quite. You have to first react to me actually doing the animation and then input teleport. In that time frame she can dash cancel. The actual startup of the attack is 12-13 frames(when she has the bola in her hand)
And its practically impossible to react that fast. SoI have the fastest forward dash and can cancel in time to either neutral jump your 3 punish or to block.

MB teleport stand 3 will beat bola on reaction. Start up of bola is 12-13 frames like u said.. humans can react to 14 at fastest. thats ONLY start up though. I will also assume BG recovers within 7-10 frames after bola is launched. ok so at most i have 23 frames, at the least i have 20. Now, lets assume you dash cancel the bola, BGs dash is no faster than 15 frames (if it is, i apologize), with backdash she has MAYBE 3 frames of invincibility (seems to be the case with everyone). Teleport (behind) puts Zatanna directly behind the opponent relative to when i input the motion (so if i input the motion just before you dash, and u dash, i will appear a dash away, still in stand 3 range though), so if im able to react on time (impossible online) i can punish. I can make a video showing you but it'd simply be "you werent reacting, u knew she was gonna do that).

It seem you think im reacting to you pulling the bola out and that canceling it will make you safe, if i react correctly, dashing is punishable.

from 2 characters away I can throw out cards practically for free. it seems at this range BGs like to mix up j2 or teleport (baiting an AA) cards stops ALL of this. unless u instant air teleport... but wtf? lmao.


idk man, i havent played you (but your evo champ and i havent played IGAU in a VERY long time, very big skill gap) but in my time i have played this MU well over several 100 matches versus competent BG players (most @HandySavage) and i think its as 5-5 as 5-5 gets. Zatanna has very good options against her.

Her dash is like 13-14 frames. So if I bola into instant dash cancel, you still have to input teleport. We can play and Ill show you why BGs at the Highest level of play will play you in neutral.

I think you are used to playing either not smart BG players or what I call that dash up vortex BG lol. Ill play you and show you the real BG. Deg and I both agree its 6-4 BG. Running away and speculating options wont help you.

I know it was SUPER laggy. But from our matches yesterday. It just felt like BG had an upper hand. I know I said I can see it being 5-5 but after you I played another zatanna player it just felt like I had an upper hand.

Deg has definitely said he thinks the MU is 6-4 batgirl. It's why he counterpicked AM and Batgirl at CEO earlier in June.

As a person who uses both, I too think it's 6-4 Batgirl's favour. If you want a bigger elaboration I can't but deg will probably give a better one.

This is fantastic. As a Bane, Grundy and Doomsday main I have to agree that the former probably has the toughest time. It's very viable for him though; to me it seems like he just need to space himself and time his armor more carefully than in most matchups. Can't just get right up in her grill and go ham with specials. As for the other two, I really don't even have anything to add. Spot on. Evo champ for damn good reason.

Batgirl match-up numbers imply that both characters are playing the same game. If the opponent isn't getting at least 50%+ and a set-up for making one read which is almost everyone it heavily favors Batgirl. I think she 7-3s all but maybe 4 characters in the game and beating Batgirl purely comes down to luck

All Batgirl mains do excluding one is cry about how hard she has it in Injustice almost prop fishing for the difficulties they have to go through, having to maybe play footsies in a match-up.
Batgirls match-up chart should be comparable to Martian Manhunters and Aquamans as they all have their fair share of 8-2/7-3 winning match-ups. If anything Batgirl is worse then them because her vortex has been proven by SonicFox to consistently loop. The match-up numbers listed in this thread represent a timer of how long that character is able to fend her off or if that characters damage can go toe to toe with hers if they maybe guess right and this doesn't even take into account the fact that every second the fight goes on is a second that Batgirl could win the round in

-Zatanna's teleport can work, you just have to hope Batgirl doesn't time hers to catch yours.
-Zatanna can't punish Batgirl's b2u3, which really sucks. In fact, Zatanna can really only check Batgirl with a standing 3 after blocking b2u3... if it's done frame perfect.
