I just liked the post mainly for the discussion and that he was bringing up points for the argument of flash winning. I didn't say flash outfootsies him........ and like I said, the footsie matchup is fairly even for the most part. I'm trying to see why people think that DS not being able to use his guns as much isn't a problem. Now if DS is better up close (like he is vs raven) then that is different. But DS isn't better up close than flash unfortunately

Yeah that's what I'm trying to say. I think deathstroke does fine in footsies and I also don't see any reason he doesn't do well upclose. you're right, but i don't see how a character with a long range tool like LC and B2/F2 and a way to full combo dash ins for 55%+ loses a footsie battle in terms of tools.
For once I agree with the general, thank you for your car insurance, as well as your chicken in Undercover Brother, as well as ds policing. I've seen this MU in a lot of tournaments and it's never been pretty. At the highest, or even the lowest level.
Tbh, he exaggerates the DS community/ generalizes it, but I agree with him that flash wins vs DS tho. If anything, he is a deputy at best, his sheriff status can't be granted until he admits DS is a solid character that isn't "low mid". #YEEEAAPPP Also this MU isn't horrible like I have stated, DS doesn't get 7 3'd by anyone.
Deathstroke has all those tools as well. You basically just listed a complete set of footsie tools. Even catwoman has all that. The difference is flash gets slightly greater reward for being successful in footsies.

Fool, The Flash does 50% after d+1,2 and 55% after f+2, with massive corner carry and meter building. Catwoman's options are not comparable. Besides, The Flash has superior movement and deals better with back walking and back dashes.
