Fuck it I'll give my 2 cents. Idk why ppl bitch about the footsies in games in general just like Block button Vs B2B. Footsies main purpose is to control space and to get the other opponent off you so you you can do your shit. Its good for a counter when ppl pressure your A** in a corner, and if your fast enough you can F*ck with your opponents so they wont read you as much. Its in there, use the damn tactic.

Best tip i can give you is Pick a main, love him/her and be the best there is with that character in all MUs and variations. Learn every situation, and know every outcome. Control and own your character.

Anyone else worried a character crisis might keep them from reaching their full potential glory in MKX?

Probably less than a third of the cast revealed so far and I've already gotta choose between my favorite archetype (big armored grapplers/brawlers like Ferra/Torr and maybe Kotal Khan), my MK9 best in Raiden (and my god was that reveal trailer better than porn), and any reveals, past or future, for whom my love just straight up defies archetypal preference (I will zone all day with Shang Tsung, not to mention how gay I'd go for Quan Chi no matter what the fuck moves they give him).

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Sub Zero with clone, Baraka with armor, Ermac with anything, the potential to fall in love with a character across the board is just ridiculous. God help us all whose mains aren't already set in stone.

Chris G's original game was MK9. He got top 8 at evo before he got big in marvel

DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY CHARACTERS HAVE TELEPORTS IN MK?! THATS AN INSANE QUALIFIER. SHEEVA HAS A TELEPORT. SHAZAM HAS A TELEPORT. THERE ARE MORE CHARACTERS IN THE TOP 8S FOR BOTH GAMES THAT DON'T HAVE TELEPORTS. YOU MIGHT AS WELL SAY PEOPLE WITH PUNCHES ALWAYS WIN EVO.

It doesn't change the fact that he still has the move and maybe used it on his entire path to winning EVO, unless he never used Cyrax on his way to GF.

The point isn't that Denzell won because of Cyrax's teleport. Denzell played spectacularly to beat Reo, and Cyrax has many more stronger tools than a teleport. My point is that in Mortal Kombat's years as an NRS main game teleport characters have won everytime. This has nothing to do with player skill. This leads to my assumption (not fact) that a strong character, who also has a teleport will win MKX at EVO.

I actually counted Denzell using teleport only twice in all of GF. He used it in one round and ended up losing the match; and he ended up using it in another game and won a round with it, but eventually lost the match. So, it absolutely didn't aid in his GF win, but the move was still there.

I hate teleports... wait, didn't Kitana have a teleport in MKvDCU? Yeah, I want that back.

And now you have LotF who will probably main Nightwolf since that was his main in MK9 and to continue the gimmick of him maining characters with the initials "NW" from the past 2 NRS games.

Both of you guy's will be like to one another "You sonuva..."
