I agree, plus RE games have been on Nintendo in the past several titles actually. A lot of them good, that one for 3DS was great but I'm just not a huge RE guy.

The biggest tournament is EVO and I can't imagine the prize being more than a couple grand. When MK9 launched, PDP had a $10k tourney and that was a MASSIVE deal. NO ONE who plays fighters professionally is making enough to buy Capcom.

I don't get this wish for MK vs Street Fighter. The games are so different. If they made it MK style, Capcom elitists would bitch. If they made it Street Fighter style, MK fans would bitch (including me). I'm a MASSIVE Tekken fan and I HATED SFxT. I bought it and played it for....maybe a week. I don't see how MK vs SF would ever work. I really don't care about ever seeing that game happen.

As far as Capcom goes, I hope someone buys them that handles their product correctly and allows them to live on. Fighting games as we know them today wouldn't exist if not for Street Fighter II. There would certainly never have been a Mortal Kombat.

I have faith in Harada. I lost faith in Ono and Capcom after the SFxT debacle with the DLC shit they pulled. Harada does it right. TTT2 had time release additional characters. It was fucking awesome. Too bad no one plays it. =(

Anyway, I heard Namco isn't even going to call the game Tekken X Street Fighter because they want to completely separate themselves from that. I don't blame them. The idea of a Tekken style game with Street Fighter character mixed in is nearly as exciting to me as MKX.

I would be so f***ing okay with RE in Nintendo's hands. The hardcore fanbase as a whole agrees that REmake is the pinnacle of the series. Hell, when you think about it EVERY single game that launched exclusively on a Nintendo platform have been above and beyond the status quo. REmake and RE0 were fantastic. RE4 is considered one of the most influential 3rd person shooters ever. Revelations was good, relative to the abominations that were RE5 and RE6.
